This is the third straight year they have received a nomination. Hopefully, third time will be the charm. The nomination is for Best Pop Performance by Due/Group" for the song "MISUNDERSTOOD". Their competion is The Eagles (for 'Hole In The World,) Fountains of Wayne (for 'Stacy's Mom',) Matchbox Twenty (for 'Unwell',) and No Doubt (for 'Underneath It All'.) On November 22, Richie & Heather and Jon & Dorothea attended the
"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's"
benefit event for the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Jon and Richie
performed "Love For Sale", "Wanted Dead Or Alive" and "Livin' On A Prayer".
Then an all-star jam took the stage and they performed "All Right Now",
"Johnny B. Good" and "Light Of Day". This will be Tico's first child. Congratulations! Jon - the teacher Jon was recently in Viriginia filming a small role in the low budget film "Living the Lie". Although no specific information about his character has been released, it has been implied that he is playing a teacher in the thriller about a young man who joins a group of recreational liars. No further information or release date has been announced. Richie on NBC's American Dreams Richie has filmed a role on the NBC tv show "American Dreams". In the episode scheduled to air on November 30, Richie plays the part of a young Eric Clapton, and performs the song "For Your Love". It was officially announced this week that Jon is the co-owner
of the Arena Football League's 18th expansion franchise
called the Philadelphia Soul. On September 23, Jon, along with Richie and Heather Locklear,

David Bryan collaborated on the music for the play. An after party gala was held at Finz in Salem. Jon attended the premiere. September 13, 2003 Upcoming Bon Jovi CD to be called "This Left Feels Right" It was officially announced via a press release on September 11 that the new Bon Jovi cd will be called "This Left Feels Right". The album was originally planned as a complete acoustic album, however, "we went into the studio thinking we were making an acoustic record," says Jon Bon Jovi. "We had a definite idea of the record we were going to make. But once we began experimenting with the songs and trying out new ideas we created a very different, unique album. We made a complete left turn and took the project down a different road." The album will be a "showcase of the band's greatest hits, each completely reworked from an acoustic base with new arrangements and various styles. (In addition to the Bon Jovi hits, which include 'Born To Be My Baby,' 'Keep The Faith,' 'It's My Life' and 'Wanted Dead or Alive,' the band has included two new songs, 'Last Man Standing' and 'Thief of Hearts'." Read full Press Release at www.bonjovi.com Release dates are: October 29 in Japan November 3 internationally November 4 in the USA and Canada August 16, 2003 Bounce Tour ends The Bounce Tour which began in Japan in January, came to an end in New Jersey with 2 sold out concerts at Giants Stadium. At the 2nd show on August 8, Jon told the audience he'd see them again in 2005. Acoustic Album & 20th Anniversary Boxset Though the next tour may be 2 years away, the band will be keeping busy. In October, 2003, the acoustic album is scheduled to be released. It no longer will contain songs from the acoustic concert performance in Japan in January. Instead it will contain some covers, different versions of old Bon Jovi songs, plus some new songs. And in 2004, the 20th anniversary boxset should be released. Bon Jovi to do Duracell Commercial Bon Jovi will be doing a 30 second commercial for Duracell batteries. The commercial highlights the use of DURACELL batteries to power the band behind the scenes and on-stage, including their wireless microphones. A promotional tie-in with the band's upcoming album release will be announced later this fall. Jon Buys a Pro Football Team The New York Post reports that Jon is buying a 50 percent stake in a new arena football team to be based in Philadelphia. On Saturday June 21, the Opening Ceremonies for the Special Olympics
International Games took place in Dublin, Ireland. As they were on tour in Europe
at the time, Jon, who has been involved with the Special Olympics for years, plus
Richie and Dave (and their wives and children) marched into the stadium along with the
American athletes. Jon then took the stage to welcome the athletes, their
families and the host families and volunteers and citizens of Dublin who made
the event possible. He also gave tribute to Eunice Kennedy Shriver, who started the
Special Olympics as a small local backyard event and grew it into an international
phenomenon, plus introduced a video on the growth of the Special Olympics
program worldwide.June 9, 2003 One Wild Night ... the movie A report at www.zap2it.com reports that Jon will star in an upcoming movie called "One Wild Night". The movie is based on Jon's original script, which he pitched to Universal Pictures, and tells the story of four wealthy couples who indulge in a night of spouse-swapping and afterwards see their lives and marriages shaken. The movie will be directed by Dylan Kidd. Jon will share writing credit with with Dario Scardapane, who was commissioned to write a script, as well as Dylan Kidd who is rewriting that draft. No filming schedule or release date has been announced. June 1, 2003 Bon Jovi on tour in Europe Bon Jovi are currently on tour in Europe performing at stadiums. They will return to North America in July for some summer shows in the USA (plus Toronto, Canada), before wrapping up the Bounce Tour with 2 concerts at Giants Stadium in August. Bon Jovi song on Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle soundtrack Bon Jovi's recording of "Livin' on a Prayer" will be included on the soundtrack for the summer movie Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. The cd, to be released on June 24, will consist of 13 songs, including new recordings by Nickelback, Pink and David Bowie. May 7, 2003 Jon, Dave & Hugh perform at Benefit for Bobby Bandiera's son On April 29, Jon, Dave & Hugh, plus other musicians including Southside Johnny, Bruce Springsteen and Gary U.S. Bonds performed at a charity benefit to raise money for Bobby Bandiera's 21 year old son, Robert Bandiera Jr., who has been struggling with neurological problems for years, and needs help to pay for medical expenses. Bobby Bandiera, Sr., was the guitarist in Jon's Destination Anywhere touring band the "Big Dogs". The benefit held at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey, raised more than $300,000.

April 21, 2003 Bon Jovi at Tiger Jam 2003 On Saturday April 19, Bon Jovi headlined the annual Tiger Jam benefit concert in Las Vegas, Nevada. Proceeds from the annual event are be used to help fund various children's charities supported by the Tiger Woods Foundation. Bon Jovi donated $20,000 to the foundation.
Richie to guest star on Chris Isaak Show According to the April 15th message from Richie posted on the message board at www.richiesambora.com, Richie will be doing some acting during their 1 month hiatus before continuing the Bounce tour in Europe. Here's Richie's message: "Hi everyone...we are winding down the US portion of the tour on Saturday in Vegas. If you haven't caught us live....you should! Next week I am off to Canada to shoot a cameo on Showtime's Chris Isaak Show. Not sure of the air date yet...but I will keep you posted. See ya on the road...." The Chris Isaak show mixes fact and fiction by featuring Chris and his real-life band members along with an ensemble of fictional characters. CD & DVD/VHS Package featuring previously unreleased performance footage to be
sold exclusively by the USA shopping channel, QVC. Last night the package
premiered on the station and during the night they cut to live clips of the
band performing onstage in San Jose. Prior to the concert, they

Bounce Tour continues Bon Jovi are continuing to cross the United States on the Bounce Tour. On April 7, they performed in Phoenix, Arizona. Jon To Perform at New Jersey Benefit Concert On April 29 at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey, Jon, along with other performers including Bruce Springsteen, Gary U. S. This is a benefit to raise money to help with the ongoing care of Robert Bandiera, jr., who is the son of Jon's friend, and Destination Anywhere Tour guitarist, Bobby Bandiera. March 8, 2003 Condolences to David Bryan On Sunday March 2, David Bryan's father, Ed, died after a long illness. With concerts already scheduled, David and the band fulfilled their commitments and played in both Albany and Boston the next 2 nights. During both concerts Jon paid tribute to Mr. Rashbaun, prior to singing "Runaway", by dedicating the show to the man who had supported them in the early days by lending them his van, as well as buying them new instruments. The funeral was held on Wednesday, March 5. David has set up a fund in memory of his father. Mr. Rashbaun was a trumpet player and the fund will restore trumpets for use in American schools. The housekeeper claims that Jon failed to repay travel costs she incurred last year while commuting from her home to his mansion in Middletown.

Each year Cosmopolitan Magazine chooses a dozen women to honour as "Fun Fearless Females".
This year they decided to honour their first ever "Fun Fearless Male" and
the award went to Jon Bon Jovi. On February 11 a luncheon was held for the fun, fearless
men and women and Jon attended along with Sandra Bullock, Laura Linney, Christina Applegate,

A video for the song was shot on February 7. The location was a loft in downtown New York City. Like the video for "Misunderstood" there will be a storyline, however, the band's participation will consist of performance only. The director is Mark Klasfeld, was also directed the video for "Misunderstood". On January 26, Bon Jovi performed at a special Super Bowl post-game show.
First they sang an abbreviated version of "It's My Life" and during an instrumental
middle video clips of the game were shown. They also performed "Everyday".
Unfortunately, tv coverage was cut off as ABC went to a commercial after only a few
seconds of the song.This one-time post-game show was created especially to launch a new annual video highlight segment entitled IT'S MY LIFE. Bon Jovi's special performance launched the video highlight of the game's most exciting moments. For this inaugural segment, the band performed the song live, however in future Super Bowls a video highlight reel will follow each game set to the music of Bon Jovi's IT'S MY LIFE.
