Bon Jovi Concert To Air Live Via Sprint Wireless Phones
On December 17, Sprint Wireless customers will be able to watch the Bon Jovi concert at the MCI Center in Washington live via Sprint TVs multimedia devices, including wireless phones and Sprint MobiTV. The concert begins at 8:30 p.m. ET, and will be shown on Sprint TV Channel 33 in the Music Video category. Sprint PCS VisionSM data access charges will apply.

Bon Jovi On The Charts
For the first time ever, Bon Jovi has a hit on the Billboard Country charts. Aided by their performance with Jennifer Nettles on the CMA Awards, the song "Who Says You Can't Go Home" debuted at No. 48 on the Hot Country Songs chart.
Meanwhile, "Have A Nice Day" has hit number 8 on the top Adult Top 40 list. This is the band's highest ever entry on the chart. "It's My Life" peaked at No. 11 in October 2000.

Recent media reports have suggested that the 11 year marriage of Richie and Heather is on the rocks. Richie, apparently, has released a statement to the New York Daily News that said their relationship is better than ever. The rocker explained, "The real story is that there is no story. The truth is that after 11 years together, we are still happily married. Boring but true."

Two 2nd Singles From Have A Nice Day
"Who Says You Can't Go Home" will be the 2nd single released in the USA and CANADA. There will be 2 videos and 2 radio singles. One version will feature Jennifer Nettles and will be released to the country radio/tv stations. The other, with just the band, will be released to all other radio/tv stations. The video, directed by Jon's brother, Tony Bongiovi, was filmed on October 25 & 26 in North Philadelphia. The main focus of the video is the 2 two-story homes built for 4 families in connection with Habitant for Humanity.
"Welcome To Wherever You Are" will be the 2nd single INTERNATIONALLY. The video was filmed in New York City on October 27, and was directed by Wayne Isham, who directed many of Bon Jovi's early videos, including "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Livin' On A Prayer" and "Bad Medicine".
Rehearsals for Have A Nice Day Tour
On Saturday October 22, Bon Jovi performed a mini concert at the Fort Monmouth Army Base in Monmouth, New Jersey where they had been rehearsing for the upcoming tour.

On November 15th, Bon Jovi will perform "Who Says You Can't Go Home" along with Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland on the Country Music Awards live telecast. Check local listings for airtimes.
Bon Jovi at Prince's Trust Benefit
On October 17, Bon Jovi performed "It's My Life" to close the Prince's Trust Benefit concert in Monaco. Although no reason was given, they were apparently the only band to lip synch. Also, while in Monaco, Jon hosted a champagne lunch on board the Anneliesse - a boat the size of a cross-Channel ferry, with its own helipad and jet-ski garage. From The Gossip Pages - Item 1
After witnessing Bon Jovi's performance at the Fashion Rocks concert, in Monaco, Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy's outspoken wife, apparently said the following about the band, "They look like a bunch of Christian rockers. They are not rock 'n' roll. I thought they were crap - and they didn't even sing live." Ironically, another online news article from Monaco, mentioned that Jon Bon Jovi was later seen hobnobbing and joking with Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. Ah, gossip, what can you believe?

While in Monaco, Jon apparently critized Madonna's parenting skills by stating, "Madonna takes those kids out to every premiere she goes to. These kids have done nothing and yet we all know what they look like. It's crazy, man, but each to their own. I've been in this industry for 22 years and no one has any idea what my four kids look like. I keep my private life private and I always have."
Madonna's response came from her spokeswoman Liz Rosenerg, who said, "Madonna has never brought her children to a film premiere. I'm delighted to hear what an authority Mr Bon Jovi is on Madonna's talents as a mother. He can rest assured [her] kids are cherished, adored, well-fed, respected and are extremely loved and well protected by their parents."

502,000 Concert Tickets Sold During First Weekend Of Sales
If demand for concert tickets is any indication, Bon Jovi are hotter than ever. Last weekend tickets for the first 34 concerts of the "Have A Nice Day" tour went on sale in North America and Europe. Demand was phenomenal with 502,000 tickets being sold, including 17 sellouts. Concerts in Chicago, Boston, East Rutherford, Montreal, Toronto, and Detroit sold out so quickly that additional shows were added immediately. A third show has since been added in Toronto. Unfortunately not all tickets were bought by fans, as Ebay and the ticket broker sites are filled with tickets being offered at majorly inflated prices.
Have A Nice Day CD 1st week Sales
Sales of the new CD Have A Nice Day were strong worldwide. The CD was #1 on the charts during 1st week sales in Japan, Australia, Holland, Austria, Germany and Canada. It placed #2 on the UK and US charts.

Bon Jovi donate $1,000,000 to Oprah's Angel Network
On September 21, Bon Jovi appeared on Oprah, a hugely popular US talk show. Despite their 20 year career, this was their first ever appearance on the show. The audience was filled with (mostly female) Bon Jovi fans. Although the band performed and promoted the new album, much of the show concentrated on Jon's charitable work in Philadelphia with his football team. Then Jon stunned Oprah by handing her a cheque from the band for $1,000,000 for her Angel Network charity to help with the rebuilding of New Orleans which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Los Angeles Promo Appearances cancelled
Bon Jovi's appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight, as well as the Ellen Degeneres show have been cancelled. The rumour is that Jon has food poisoning caused by bad sushi.

Bon Jovi Launches New Album with Live Performance from Times Square!
On September 19, the night before the North American release of Have A Nice Day, the band is performing live at the Nokia Theatre Times Square. Bon Jovi at Live 8 in Philadelphia
On May 31, Bob Geldof, an organizer of the 1985 Live Aid concert for famine relief in Ethiopia, announced the latest edition, Live 8, to be held on July 2, marking the 20 year anniversary of Live Aid. There will be concerts in various cities around the world. In the US, the concert will be held in Philadelphia and Bon Jovi have been confirmed as one of the performers.

There's not a whole lot happening in the Bon Jovi world as of yet this year. However, there should be a new album released this spring, although no date has been announced as of yet.
