This picture of Jon from the video screen was taken by me. I was snapping pictures all night and though they aren't as good as some of the ones other fans have taken, they're not terrible.
Here is the link to My Toronto January 30 Concert/Trip Review & Pictures Early on in this concert, Jon mentioned that "he had a frog in his throat" and he seemed to be drinking a lot and didn't talk as much as usual. The fact that he was "under the weather", may be the reason why this concert was about 15 minutes shorter than the average 2 1/2 hrs Bon Jovi usually plays. |

This was another shorter show than usual. Fans who attended this concert stated that Jon said he'd been to the doctor earlier in the day and that the doctor said his vocal cords looked like swiss cheese, and if he was him he'd cancel the show and Jon said, "well, you ain't me, so %$# off." All joking aside, it shows the professionalism of this band to see that "the show goes on" even when they aren't feeling 100%. |

This was also a shortened show and Jon's throat seemed to be worse as Livin' On a Prayer was added to the list of songs done acoustically. And as if Jon's throat issues weren't enough to affect their performance, this concert had the extra special misfortune of being on the same day that Richie's wife, Heather Locklear, filed for divorce. |

Fans who attended this concert have posted on the message boards that at the end of Someday I'll Be Saturday Night, Jon gave "the finger" for a considerable length of time to a guy near the front of the stage, and said something like "You wont get any points from me for that" before leaving the stage. By the time the band returned for Wanted Dead Or Alive, security had escorted "the fan" from the venue. Some fans posted that the gesture was in response to a sign the guy was holding that read "BOSS JR". Others mentioned that the guy was drunk and had been harrassing fans around him all night. No one knows for sure, as there was no mention of the incident in the report of the concert at bonjovi.com. |

| This was the last concert of the European leg of the tour, and perhaps it was simply exhaustion from playing 4 shows in 5 nights, but the show was shorter than usual and fans who attended said that Jon seemed unhappy or unwell, and that he didn't interact with the band or the crowd. Whatever the reason many fans left the venue disappointed. | |

This concert was unique in that it was held at a smaller inside venue at a casino and not an outside stadium like the rest of the summer shows. Ticket prices were also "unique" in that they ranged from $100 to $400 each |

Unfortunately heavy rain and dangerously close lightning forced the show to be cut short due to the safety issue for the crowd as well as the lighting and camera crew. This meant there was only a 1 song encore. Fans are speculating that if not for the weather, there may have been surprises in the encore, as Wanted Dead or Alive (almost always in the encore) was played early on in the set. Concert # 2 is tonight. Hopefully the weather will be more co-operative. |
