Does this guy only get better or what????????????????
He was awesome!!! VERY strong voice. Looks amazing as always.
He did a lot of joking around and was hilarious. Sang a bit of everything. Some old...some new.
He had a new guitar player with him. I spoke with him after the show and he said he's only done a few concerts with Hal and had started just this spring.

Hal left the crowds only wanting to hear more. He was on stage 2 hours and it wasn’t enough!!!! He came out and did an encore after the people were blaring for him to come back. He sang a few more songs and then said his "good nights" and "thank you" and shook a few hands and left again. The crowd had other ideas though. They would not let up until he came back out again. It was really neat. So out he came again and sang more. He sang Trail of Tears “a cappella”. It was incredible. (Always been one of my favourites)

We hung around after the show with about 10 other people. After the crowd had left the building Hal came out and talked to us. He was so kind to everyone. When I asked how he was feeling and he said he feels really good now. He's getting acupuncture treatments and taking herbs. He also said that to have someone like Gina at home to help look after him it makes a world of difference. He said that Sophia is doing great. When she was born she was very long and lean like her Mom but is now really "chubbing up". It was cute!!! He said his new album should be out sometime in Sept.

I also met up with my long time Hal friend Rhonnie again this year so that made it even all that much more exciting.
