The S.T.I.R.
Principle
We've all heard of post-hypnotic suggestions, but I've become more aware
of
pre-hypnotic suggestions, most of which have been coming
from advertising. The four most powerful words in the English Language
of which place a listener into a pre-hypnotic state are
Suggest,
Think,
Imagine and
Recommend.
Be aware of IT...Imagine and Think
Whenever someone says to you, "I want you to think about this..." or "Imagine
the following...," what they are saying is interpreted by your mind as "I
want you to open your imagination and create a vivid idea about what I'm
telling you."
Dr. Maxwell Maltz, a surgeon who discovered a process he called
Psycho-cybernetics,
discovered that "the mind cannot distinguish between something that is real
and something that is vividly imagined." So, when someone asks you
to create a vivid image, they are coaxing you into a subconscious state.
Once you are in a subconscious state, even a little one, you are susceptible
to suggestion and recommendations.
Anyone can give you advice, but if you interpret the speaker or source
as being an EXPERT, your mind will not analyze the suggestion. Instead,
it will analyze the source. Why else is Tiger Woods wearing Nike products
and getting $100 Million in contracts to keep wearing them for the next
decade? The answer floats in the air of expertise.
Let's say that you have a headache, that everyone around you knows it,
and some guy comes off the street and says to you, "Hey! You gotta headache?
Y'know, I always use two ibuprofen and two Tylenol
®, and that always works for me." You look
at the guy and think, "Who the heck are you?"
Later, it gets worse, so you call a doctor's office and he says, "Hey!
You gotta headache? Y'know, I always use two ibuprofen and two Tylenol
®, and that always works for me." And without
thinking about it, you go and take two ibuprofen and two Tylenol
®." Now, what's the difference? These
are two human beings. Why did you ignore one and not the other? The
answer lies in the air of expertise.
Tiger Woods is wearing Nike products. He's an expert. He can
afford to wear anything he wants. He knows quality. He's of
fine character and brilliant personality. Yet, Tiger wears Nike. Now,
people who see this buy Nike products because of the air of expertise. By
wearing these products, he is suggesting and recommending these products
because they are good enough for Tiger Woods.
So, analyze other situations. If someone establishes himself/herself
as an expert, then begins telling you why you should do what they suggest
or recommend, the first thing you must consider is their underlying motive.
Are they informing you or selling something to you?
Now, my website has been free and continues to be free because I believe
this knowledge should be out there in the real world. There are people
who charge hundreds and thousands of dollars to share their quote-unquote
motivational secrets with you, and in most cases, these secrets are basted
with elements of hypnosis. Thus, what I share with you here is a GIFT
of high value, but I refuse to charge for the website as the very poorest
of the poor need to access to this knowledge, not just the richest of the
rich.
I am of the opinion that there are untapped entertainment fields to be
hatched once people start to use their subconsious minds as a form of escapism
and educational adaptation. However, until people learn to use their
minds more effectively, they remain even more susceptable to persuasion.
Thus, this website is here to disseminate my research and to share
knowledge so that everyone on this planet can grow.
Please learn scrypnosis and offer it to anyone you know. Actors and
orators, take advantage of charging to be readers. Writers and journalists,
perhaps you might take on the tasks of generating new scripts. The
field is untapped and open to great levels of discovery. Every head
on the planet has these abilities and very few people as of today are using
them. That point in time has passed. The future, with what brainwave
interfaces allow, is going to grant all of us a chance to control computers
at faster rates of speed and to "boldly go where no one has gone before."
Peace, to all, somehow in this madness...
