Sit on the balcony and look across the valley to the famous Hergest Ridge and Gardens and Hergest Court with its links to Welsh culture and The Hound of the Baskervilles. Or scan the distance and admire the splendour of The Black Mountains and The Brecon Beacons. Adjoining the house is the highest golf course in England and surrounding it are five hundred acres of National Trust land.
