Published in 1993, 8th collection, first of the large size format. All Sunday strips in color. Up til this collection, the collections were all black and white. Only the Treasury Collections had color Sunday strips.

Some excellent Snowmen art on pages 20 and 21.

A great series of snowmen on page 28 and 29.

Calvin leaves a severed snowman head on Susie's doorstep on page 32.

On 33, Calvin has recreated the Easter Island statues out of snow. Dad is not amused.

A horde of tiny snowmen are threatened by a huge snowman on page 34.

Calvin declares himself "Boy of Destiny" on page 44, it lasts only until the top of page 45.

Calvin's Dad begins his love hate relationship with his bicycle on page 56.

Calvin draws the Strip on page 68! A Classic!

Calvin begins a serious gum chewing hobby on page 70, including "Chewing" magazine. The story runs through page 72.

G.R.O.S.S. meets again on page 80.

The mysterious "noodle incident" is mentioned again on page 82. It is the beginning of a time travel story - line wherein Calvin decides to travel into the future to the time where he has finished his writing assignment. He figures he can bring it back and turn it in. It runs through page 89.

Calvin & Hobbes make clay figurines on page 98. Hobbes insists on wearing a smock. He is more interested in the smock than the clay. Mom likes Hobbes figurine of a tiger better than Calvin's shrunken cartoon heads.

Calvin and Hobbes play "contact golf" on page 117.

Dad is on his bicycle again on page 123.

We see the inner workings of Calvin's mind on page 130.

Stupendous Man makes a brief appearance on page 131.

A great Spaceman Spiff on page 138.

Calvin battles his food again on page 155.

On page 159, Calvin and Hobbes want to hear "Hamster Huey and the Gooey Kablooie" for a bedtime story again.
