The next morning when Ken woke up, he felt this odd lightheadedness
to him. He was smiling. Widely I might add. He looked over to his side,
catching a glimpse of the spiky brown hair that was attached to the still
slumbering face of his lover.
He had won this little battle against the Digidestined. All those times
he was subjected to watch Daisuke and that blond… all those times he
would catch a glimpse of them secretly making out… well, not anymore. He
had won him. He had finally won Daisuke once and for all. And to think,
that annoying Barbie doll had actually gotten this close to his Daisuke… it
made him shudder just thinking about it. Never-again. Never again would he
even allow that waste of skin to come in contact with Daisuke. Nothing in
this world or the other would get in his way of assuring that.
Suddenly, a soft voice broke the silent air in the room and Ken smiled
widely. "Hey," Daisuke smiled drowsily, as he rubbed his eyes with his
palms, yawning slightly as he smiled again. Oh God how Ken had missed
waking up to his lover like this…
"Hey yourself," he grinned, inching his way over to where Daisuke
was and wrapped his arms around the smaller boy's waist. "You feeling
better now?"
Daisuke nodded his head twice. "I don't feel so dizzy anymore and my
headache's gone."
"That's good," Ken muttered examining Daisuke face. He had almost
forgotten how beautiful he was. "I think we should get home. What do you
think?" he had to test out this particular feature.
"Um… I guess so, if you want," Daisuke muttered, squeezing his eyes
shut. They popped open again moments later, complete and total devotion
radiating clearly.
Ken smiled, once again pulling the tanned skinned boy in closer. His
fingers lightly brushing across his back remembering each and every groove,
muscle, limb. Daisuke's body was perfect in Ken's eyes. Though, the black
spiral on his arm was a bit trickier to deal with.
No matter, he thought. I can fix that easily. For the moment, he
wanted the just lye with Daisuke, basking in the absolute divinity that
always accompanied the brunette.

During the exact moment in a completely different world, while Ken
was enjoying heaven, Takeru was left in hell. "I haven't seen him in days!
He's not at home, he's not at Meko's apartment! I can't find him anywhere!"
Takeru panicked as the Digidestined sat around him. The look of worry
mirrored on all their faces.
Hikari placed a reassuring hand on Takeru's shoulder as she hugged
him protectively to her chest. She could definitely remember a time where
people called them the perfect couple, destined to be together. Sexual
preferences aside, they had never though of each other in that way. Takeru
was like a brother to her. One she confided in with all her secrets.
Takeru had been the first person she told about Miyako and she was
positive she was the first person he told about his major crush, (eventually
turning into love) on Daisuke. Where are you Daisuke She thought, placing
her head on his, hushing him. "I'm sure he's fine T.K. Daisuke just probably
went away on vacation and forgot to tell you!" sadly, deep inside, Hikari
knew she was giving him a false hope…
"I'm so worried about him," Takeru muttered after a brief period of
silence. Miyako almost instantly grabbed Iori's hand and lead him out of the
room, giving Hikari a slight reassuring smile as she closed the door over
leaving them be.
"Listen T.K, Daisuke just couldn't have vanished. You know he's here
somewhere. I bet that when you get home you'll have a message or phone
call from him just waiting for you!"
"Why wouldn't he have told me though? I know he knows I would be
worried out of my skull!" he exclaimed, jumping up and startling Hikari.
Just then, his arms went rigid and his head slumped in defeat. "What if he
found someone else?" the blond asked in a voice that was so thickly layered
with emotion Hikari almost choked. "I've been so worried about that… and
for the last couple of days I kept getting this feeling that he was being taken
from me… Kari, I don't know what I'd do without him! I love him so
much…"
"I know T.K," she assured him, gently wrapping her arms around him.
"I know you love him. And I know this as a fact. He loves you. I have
never seen him so happy and I've known him just about as long as I've
known you."
"Then where is he?" the blond squeaked. Tears freely streaming down
his alabaster cheeks. "Why did he leave me?" he muttered numbly,
completely devoid of any emotion. Having Daisuke taken away from him
was literally a white-hot knife through his heart. Every second he wasn't
wrapped up in Daisuke's arms; he could literally feel the knife twisting.
Scorching a new burn through his already scarred heart.
Hikari opened her mouth, trying to think up a suitable excuse. She had
used so many over the years, so why couldn't she think of one right now?
Her voice seemed to vanish as she gazed into Takeru's eyes, the concern and
worry thrashing around his cerulean eyes in waves. He was in pain. A deep,
almost inhumane pain and no amount of lying would fix it. The only thing
that would make her handsome blond smile again, would be Daisuke.
The problem still being, nobody knew where he was.

"Miyako, what are we going to do?" Iori asked the taller purple haired
girl as he licked his plain vanilla ice cream cone. He sighed to himself,
shaking his head of platinum hair.
"I honestly don't know," she told him bluntly, striding over to a bench
as she passed her fingers through her silky lavender hair. Out of some
genetic mix up, Miyako had been the only person in her family to end up
with the odd hair color. She had only seen one other person with purple hair,
and that person was Hikari's mom.
"Do you think he just left us? I mean, he has been acting a little
different ever since he and T.K got together."
"No, that's love Iori," she muttered a tad dreamily, thinking about her
soft featured, amber eyed love. Miyako honestly cared for Hikari and there
was this feeling of absolute completion whenever she was around her. She
knew that they were taking their relationship slow so they could see if it
would really work out. She only prayed that it would. Oh God how she
prayed and hoped and dreamed!
"Hello! Earth to Miyako!" the smaller boy sighed as he waved his
hand in front of the girl's face, trying to break her out of the dreamy coma
she had suddenly lapsed into.
"Wha… what? Oh… sorry, I kinda drifted off there… for… a…
min… oh my God!" she suddenly exclaimed, her sentence first trailing off
before her eyes literally bulged out of her head. "Look!"
Iori, not knowing what else to do turned to where his best friend was
pointing and dropped his cone in the process. Miyako immediately grabbed
the sleeve of his shirt and yanked him hard, pulling him in back of the
bench, right behind a bush almost dive bombing into it.
"Was that Daisuke and Ken?" Iori hissed, rubbing his sore backside as
he was forcefully pulled onto the hard ground. His opinions of the soft
looking grass suddenly changed.
"Yes!" she spat, making a small tunnel through the foliage. Right
there, as clear as day and night was Daisuke, arms wrapped around Ken's
waist as he pressed his lips to his viciously. Both of them were so wrapped
up in each other (quite literally) that they didn't noticed Miyako and Iori as
they continued their game of espionage, spying on the hot and heavy make
out session that was making Iori's ears blaze red.
"What the hell is he doing?" Iori muttered heatedly.
"Painting! What the hell do you think he's doing!?" Miyako barked,
standing up as she darted off making her way closer to all the action. She
was only a few feet away from them, still well hidden when Iori joined her
again. "Why that no-good cheater!" Miyako practically hissed. "Just look at
him!"
"I'm actually trying not to," Iori muttered through clenched teeth. He
was just as mad at Daisuke as Miyako was considering Takeru was very
close to him. The younger boy considered Takeru to be like a replacement
brother, the one he never had.
"We have to go tell Kari! And T.K for that matter!" Miyako suddenly
realized. "Oh but I want to go over there and give that boy a piece of my
mind!" she hissed, deciding to do just that as she stood up, brushed away
some dried leaves from her clothing and marched over to where Daisuke and
Ken (who were now sitting quietly).
"Hi Miyako!" Daisuke chirped as Ken smiled. "How are you?"
Miyako's face literally shot on fire. Iori was surprised she was able to
restrain herself from lunging on Daisuke and strangling him. "Fine," she
managed to say civilly. Iori sensing her building rage, grabbed her arm and
held her back. The boy silently thanked God that Miyako didn't have any
superhuman powers like the characters from Dragonabll Z or else Daisuke
would be a pile of ashes by now.
"Hey Ken," Iori turned his attention to the raven-haired boy, "fancy
seeing you two together. Again," the amount of disgust the smaller boy was
able to place in that one word almost made Ken gasp.
"Iori…" Ken almost leered, remembering in this world he wasn't the
Emperor. At least not yet anyway. "Well, I hate to break this happy
engagement up, but Daisuke and I have to leave. Goodbye."
"Bye you two," Daisuke waved enthusiastically, being completely
oblivious to everything that went on around him. Lead away by Ken, he
tagged along like an obedient puppy, as absolutely no sign of intelligent
thinking crossed his eyes. Almost as if his mind had been swept clean.
"What the hell is going on here?" Miyako moaned, sliding to the
ground as she clutched at her throbbing head. "First Daisuke is missing.
Then he's found, with Ken and he acted like a zombie. Can this day get any
worse?"
"Yea, it can," Iori sighed. "We now have to tell T.K."
=== === ===
"Ken, what was wrong with them?" Daisuke asked in a small voice as
he was brought back to Ken's apartment. "They sounded really mad."
"Just ignore them Daisuke," Ken suggested, knowing that his little
piece of advice would be taken more seriously than that. When the brunette
nodded, Ken smiled once again.
This had to be the most fun he had ever had. Now, he had a
completely loyal, totally obedient and utterly sexy Daisuke in his absolute
control; and he rather liked Daisuke like that more than he had ever
fathomed. "Ken," he asked as the blue haired boy gently lowered him to his
bed, unbuttoning his shirt impatiently.
"Yea?" he responded as he began to suck the tanned flesh just under
Daisuke's skin, melting when he heard the soft purring sounds the brunette
made.
"There's something wrong isn't there?" his question was more of a
statement than anything and Ken stopped his blissful ministrations as he
looked up into Daisuke's breathtaking mahogany eyes.
"What do you mean Daisuke?" Ken questioned, kissing a steamy line
down his smooth cheek.
"I don't know what it is exactly, but there's something wrong with
this… with us being like this… I… I don't know how to put it but I keep
getting the feeling this is wrong."
"Oh it's not Daisuke, it's not. You were meant to be with me and I
won't let anything come between us. You are mine," he hisses, licking
Daisuke's earlobe, "I caught you fair and square and no I'm never going to
let anything come between us again. Once was enough. Now listen to me.
Forget about these feelings. You love me and only me. Whatever you felt for
him is gone now. You. Belong. To. Me."
Not knowing what else to do, Daisuke nodded as he kissed Ken. There
was this odd sensation that wasted over his body, almost ripping at his brain
and he felt dizzy. His eyes rolled in back of his head, as his mind was taken
over by this foggy, mind induced pleasure that Ken kept administrating with
every faint kiss or touch.
But this still felt wrong. Nothing Ken could say or do would make this
feeling disappear completely. Every single time Ken would bring his lips
down on his flesh, he couldn't help but feel what he did. But too confused by
the signals his heart was sending and the overriding commands his brain was
dictating, Daisuke ignored it, kissing Ken deeply before they made love.
=== === ===
"So what are we going to say again?" Iori asked Miyako for the tenth
time in the last minute.
"Just shut up and let me do all the talking," the girl commanded as
they approached the Kamiya home where they had last left Takeru and
Hikari. Inwardly, Miyako felt horrible. She would be the one that would
destroy Takeru's world. She could feel the love that he gave off for the
leader of their group. She could almost picture his face fall when she would
tell him.
She felt like the executioner, right before a beheading. The control
over life and death at that exact moment made her feel as if she was playing
God. So when Iori knocked on the big wooden door and it opened, she had
to restrain herself from running away.
"Hey you two, again," Takeru smiled as he greeted the duo with a
wave. His smiling face caused Miyako's stomach to knot up.
"You're feeling better?" she stated bluntly as he nodded his golden
hair vigorously.
"Kari just slapped me back to reality. Figuratively speaking of course.
Though, I was pretty sure if I wallowed any more she would."
"That's great," she tried to laugh, the sound escaping her throat was
wheezy, forced.
"You okay?" Hikari asked as she came out of the kitchen with a tray
of refreshments. Luckily, nothing was tofu or made of seaweed.
"Peachy," she quipped dropping like a ton of bricks as she hit the
couch with a grunt. She inhaled sharply, wishing now more than ever she
could trade in Sincerity for Courage. "listen T.K, Iori and I, well, we found
out something."
"What was it?" he asked calmly, taking a sip of Pepsi.
"We found Daisuke," with that, Takeru coughed and spit out his soda,
choking horribly.
"What? Where?" he exclaimed, jumping ten feet in the air.
"He was at the park but…" Miyako began again but was interrupted.
"That's great! Thank you so much!" he ran up and gave the girl a tight
squeeze. Perfect, I'm gonna go see if I can still catch up to him!" it was at a
time like this, everybody could see why he had the crest of Hope.
"But T.K," she tried again but was too late as he bolted out the door
the second his shoes were on his feet. "Dammit!" she cried out in frustration
as Hikari put a hand on her girlfriend's shoulder.
"What's wrong Miyako?"
"God the numbskull left before I could finish!" she huffed indignantly
before she sighed. "Kari, Daisuke was with Ken."
The pretty brunette's face dropped. "With-with Ken or with-with
Ken?"
"With-with. Ken was practically sucking Daisuke's face off," Iori
added on.
"Oh my," Hikari muttered, dropping to the couch with the exact same
expression Miyako and Iori had previously had. "Oh my."
=== === ===
This was a good thing. Takeru just knew it! After all that worrying
and a possible bitch-slap from Hikari, he had found out where his gorgeous
brunette boyfriend was. He almost skipped to the park, trying to put a finger
on where Daisuke could possibly be. He stopped, contemplating everything
for a minute before one area practically jumped out of his mind and threw
him to the ground.
"The river!" he cried out triumphantly as he instantaneously bolted for
the bus stop, fishing out his pass and waited patiently for the vehicle to
arrive. He felt his wild burst of enthusiasm die down as he just stood for ten
minutes, waiting impatiently. Growling, he glanced over at the bus schedule
and groaned. Another twenty minute wait. He almost screamed out in
frustrating, trying not to savagely attack the poor bus pole like he so desired.
Opting for the saner approach, he cursed under his breath, using some
of Daisuke's more colorful language. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck," he
repeated kicking at a stone that suddenly pissed him off greatly.
"Hey, what did it ever do to you?" he heard a voice behind him
chuckle as he spun around and practically propelled himself at the man.
"Daisuke!" he cried out happily, practically squishing the boy as he
wrapped his arms around him tighter, inhaling the scent that was utterly
Daisuke. "Oh God I missed you so much!" he exclaimed, not caring that
there might have been people around him. Without hesitation, the blond
pressed his lips to Daisuke, kissing his deeply and passionately, every part of
him overjoyed.
"Woah!" Daisuke exclaimed horrified as he violently pushed Takeru
away, wiping his lips. "What the hell was that for?" he demanded. Takeru's
heart dropped. He has to be kidding.
"I don't understand…" Takeru shook his head numbly. "I… I… just
thought…" he began to stutter as he forced his tears to stay back. He
wouldn't cry. He -couldn't- cry.
"God T.K…" Daisuke wiped his lips again. "You should be so lucky
Ken wasn't here to see that! What would he think if he saw us kissing!?"
"Daisuke…" Takeru choked, shaking his head not understanding the
situation at all. "But… but… us…"
"What are you talking about T.K? There is no us!" Daisuke stated as
calmly as he could. There was something nagging at the back of his head
and he couldn't push it away, nor could he stop the words from coming out
of his mouth. Something deep inside him told him to gather Takeru in his
arms, but an even greater feeling backhanded it away.
At that one sentence, those four little words Takeru's entire world
collapsed in on itself and the tear gate opened, letting crystal tears escape
their azure prison. "I thought you love me…" he choked, his knees
becoming weak was he suddenly gripped into the pole he desperately hated a
minute before.
The look of shock and bewilderment was plainly visible as Daisuke
hesitantly took a step forward and wrapped his arms around Takeru's waist
and pulled him back into a semi standing position. Gently lowering his lips
to Takeru's ear, he opened his mouth and breathed out the phrase, "Then I
guess I fell in love with someone else," before he let the blond go and wiped
away the tears that were staining his vision. Takeru quite literally collapsed
on the pavement. Turning his back on the weeping boy, Daisuke walked
away, back to Ken's apartment. Never did he stop to look back.
Then an odd thing happened. Even though Daisuke was under the
spiral's control, he felt this odd moisture leak down his cheek. Raising one
numb hand, he realized he was crying.
