Fast
Eddie

From Latina Magazine Online, October 1998

He enters the room wearing an old, loose-fitting white T-shirt, faded jeans, and a pair of yellow-tinted sunglasses. He could be any one of the numerous wanna-be models and actors that make up the population of Los Angeles, but he's not. He's 25-year-old Eddie Cibrian, and these days, he's the hottest thing steaming up NBC's Sunset Beach.
As ex-jewel thief Cole Deschanel, Cibrian has been breaking hearts on the daytime soap since early last year. And come November, he'll have a new legion of fans. Cibrian will be revealing more than his trademark dimpled grin in his first film endeavor, Living Out Loud. In the film, he plays the erotic masseur who Holly Hunter's character calls after reading his newspaper ad.
The word in New Line Cinema's back lot is that Cibrian's sensuous scene has left audiences literally screaming for more. "I've never played a role like that before," he jokes. "It's a small part, but hopefully it will lead to bigger things."
One of those "bigger things" may well be The Hit Man: Bound By Honor, a made-for-TV movie produced by brothers Chuck and Aaron Norris, which CBS plans to air during the November sweeps. Cibrian recently completed filming and signed on to do two sequels as well. In a sharp change of pace, he stars as a man who infiltrates the mob to avenge the death of his parents. "Oh, I'm Mr. Action in that thing!" he says with a hearty laugh. "I got to play with guns and all that."

Eddie as Griff Walker
From BaywatchNights.com.

Best known for his role as scheming bad boy Matt Clark on the #1 rated daytime drama series "The Young and The Restless," Eddie Cibrian plays fashion photographer and aspiring private investigator Griff Walker on the hit syndicated series "Baywatch Nights."

Born June 16, 1973 in Burbank, California, Eddie was raised in the San Fernando Valley. The only child of Carlos and Hortensia Cibrian, both of Cuban descent, Eddie became interested in acting at the age of 13 when he found out that a fellow classmate had broken into the business doing commercials. After discussing it with his parents, Eddie landed an agent and booked seven commercials over the next two years. While he enjoyed the work, the auditions prevented him from participating in school sports. A natural athlete, Eddie decided to put his acting career on hold in favor of joining the high school football team.

After graduating from Montclair High School, Eddie enrolled as a Business/Economics major at UCLA and took on a part-time job to make ends meet. However, he missed the challenge and excitement of working in the entertainment industry, and shortly afterwards decided to give acting another shot. He quickly signed with an agent and began working almost immediately.

Eddie's television credits include guest appearances on NBC's "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" and CBS's "The Bold and The Beautiful." He also co-starred in the Emmy-winning network special "Kids Killing Kids," hosted by Malcolm Jamal Warner. Currently, he can be seen starring opposite actress/singer Jennifer Love Hewitt ("Party of Five") in her new music video featuring the song "Couldn't Find Another Man."

When Eddie isn't working, he is busy finishing his senior year at UCLA. In what free time he has left, he enjoys playing team sports including basketball, football, baseball, soccer and volleyball. He also is an avid skier, golfer, and motorcyclist.

Eddie Cibrian is that strapping 6-foot-2 actor who portrays enigmatic jewel thief Cole St. John on NBC's Sunset Beach. Much in the same way Cary Grant did in To Catch a Thief, Cibrian imbues his character with a charm that makes him hard to resist — especially for his love interest, Caitlin Richards. Many will remember Cibrian from his stint on Y&R as rapist Matt Clark, as well as his role as Griff Walker on the syndicated prime-time series Baywatch Nights. He's also an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys and plays everything from baseball to volleyball in his spare time, which, these days, is limited. So go on — ask all about Eddie!
