A bunch of people came together to celebrate Mayday 2003 by planting some spuds, permaculture style, on ex-military land on the Crumlin road. This has been the second year that a community potato garden has been erected at the site. Individuals involved in Our Kitchen spent about 2 hours picking up rubbish for recycling and setting up the garden. They hope to be eating spuds by July!
