![]() The unofficial website for Disney's Wendy Moira Angela Darling from Peter Pan. ![]() First, I can't start without thanking Alice Hawkins for her amazing work. She started from scratch to create this fantastic layout. Wendy's NeverLand was becoming much to cluttered, so I wanted to start over. For second time viewers, you will notice there is not as much information, pages, and images; I apologize for this. If there is a page you don't see, but you wished was here let me know. If I recieve multiple requests I will consider readding the page. I hope you enjoy 'True Believer'. ![]() The Story of Wendy We are all familiar with story of Peter Pan. It's been around for 100 years, but here's a recap. Wendy loves telling Peter Pan stories to her to younger brothers, Michael and John, and they love to act them out around the nursery. One day Mr. Darling decides Wendy is too old to sleep in the nursery, and they she must have her own room. All the Darling children go to sleep that night very sad, but while they are sleeping a guests secretly comes in through the window. Peter Pan! He was looking for his shadow. He woke Wendy up and she offered to sew it on for him. ![]() He allows her and then offers to take her to NeverLand. In exchange Wendy offers him a kiss, until Tinker Bell's jelousy causes her to pull Wendy away by her hair. Michael and John wake up and are happy to see Peter. Peter Pan then teaches them how to fly; faith, trust, and pixie dust. They fly to NeverLand but are attacked by Captain Hook. Peter tells Tinker Bell to take Wendy and her brothers to Hangman's Tree, but she loses them easily knowing where she is going. Tink tells the Lost Boys Wendy is a "Wendy bird" and Peter said to shoot her down. The Lost Boys throw things at Wendy, but Peter saves her just in time. Then Peter splits up with the other boys to take Wendy to see the mermaids. Wendy loves the mermaids and stands in their lagoon listening to peter talk about all his adventures in NeverLand. Wendy even became friends with a few of them. ![]() Just kidding. That's more like it. The image above is promotional and is not part of the final film. The mermaids were jealous of Wendy, and they tried to drown her. Peter was not very helpful in this situation as he was just laughing (until Wendy threatened to thow a shell that appeared out of nowhere). Mermaids are not pleasent creatures as J.M. Barrie described in the book of Peter Pan. ![]() After Peter saved Tiger Lily and the Indian celebration party (which Wendy was forced to gather wood at) Wendy sings to the boys about family, mothers to be specific. They all miss their mothers and want to go home. ![]() Peter thinks they will just come back, so he lets them leave. They are all captured by Captain Hook and his crek and taken to his ship. Captain Hook leaves a bomb wrapped in a present signed Wendy, hoping to blow Peter and his hideout up. When Tinker Bell hears this she rushes to save Peter, but is too late for the hideout. Tinker Bell was hurt from the explosion but Peter saves her. Then he rushes to the ship to save Wendy and the boys. He secretly catches Wendy after she walks off the plank, so the pirates end up confused. Peter battled with with Hook, while the Lost Boys and Darling children were battling the crew. ![]() Peter saves Wendy and the boys and returns them to London on the pirate ship sprinkled with pixie dust. It was an adventure Wendy will never forget. . |
