| Adrienne Wilkinson has revealed that the Xena season five finale, Motherhood, was severely cut. According to the US actress, who now has a regular part in Xena as the warrior princess' daughter, Eve, the crucial final scenes in which the Furies attempt to orchestrate Eve's death by manipulating Gabrielle into killing her, involved a lot more blood and violence than viewers saw in the screened version of the episode. Wilkinson revealed at a US convention in Sept. that Gabrielle actually stabbed Eve several times, Xena knew about the Furies, yelled several times to Gabrielle to stop trying to kill her child before whacking her with the Chakram, and a bloodly battle with the Furies errupted. |
