School: Attended Taylor High School her Freshman and Senior year. During her Sophomore and Junior years, she attended Houston's High School of the Performing and Visual Arts.

Home: When Renee is filming for Xena she makes her home in Auckland, NZ where she and her boyfriend Steve have a home in the Country. If season filming is over, she makes her home in Los Angeles, CA.

Hobbies: Rock climbing, kickboxing, lifting weights, jogging, horseback riding, and Jazz dancing.

Renée grew up in the suberb of Katy. She recalled stuying acting from age twelve at Houston's alley theatre. Renée graduate High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Houston, TX, 1989. After that she moved to LA to improve her acting skills. In 1989 Disney cast her in the first of two serials of The Mickey Mouse club, followed by Tales from the Crypt, The Rockford files, The adventures of Huck Finn, Darkman II, and Hercules and the Lost Kingdom. When Xena: Warrior Princess was cast in 1995 Renée won the key roll as Gabrielle. Renée is by natural very active, but she also does it to keep in shape for her role. She likes rockclimbing, jogging and lifting weights. When Renée isn't in New Zealand she lives in LA enjoying working out, jazz dancing and horse riding.
While shoting the last episodes of Xena 2001, Renée made it official that she and husband Steve are expectiong their first child. Congrats are in order!
