ASSASSINS' PAINTBALL TACTICS
____________________________________________

To stay alive and have good kills,
Deception Tactics are critical. Blending in
with your surroundings means that the enemy may walk up to or past you and not even see
you. Having the visible edge makes you the hunter and them the prey. Your camouflage
should be terrain oriented i.e.: woodland, realtree, desert, urban and should all match. The
human eye picks up things that are out of place, and movement. If your camo matches and
you stay still, it is very hard to see you. Deception tactics are not limited to your body.
Camouflage helps, but it is not enough. Concealment must include your body, your gear,
and your cover/bunker/barricade. Also, if you cover/conceal enemy lines of sight to your
position until the enemy is in an awkward position, it will be easier to eliminate him. i.e.: after the
enemy passes a large tree beside the trail, you have a clear shot on him with out giving up
your cover.

Flag guards and snipers both follow
Stationary Tactics. Being stationary
affords you the ability to familiarize yourself with the surroundings and plan defenses.
Check your rear side - make sure you are not seen when you are not looking. Plan escape
routes and secondary cover, and, memorize the flag and your teammates position. Come up
with hand signals to use and a code word to verify who is on your team. After you are
settled in, listen to the natural sounds of your position. When the birds quit chirping -
wonder why? Maybe there is someone in the dry sandy creek bed. Being quiet is always
critical until the fight involves more than just you. Remember: Look at their eyes. 1 shot - 1
kill .  If you do this, you probably will not give up your position because it was too quick.

If you are a flag guard- guard the flag. Don't get stupid. Just because you are
pinned down, does not mean that you have to die. Stay alive and choose accurate shots on
the enemy. Utmost!!! Guard the flag.  You must be overrun to give up your position and if
the opponent runs in, paint him at point blank.

If you are a sniper, pick your location well. Just off trails are good. Near obvious
locations the opponent will check are good too. Make sure you have a way out if the opponent
gets a fix on you. Attack the last man in a patrol so the others will not know where you are.
And if you see a lone enemy team member, watch him until you get a good bead, and take
him out. Remember, If there is a hospital etc. the player you eliminate will probably tell the
others where you are.

Stationary Position Tactics require good Deception Tactics and Patience.
Watch the enemy come in and When there is no doubt - Take him out.

If you are
Mobile, Tactics are subject to change and are based on experience.
Concealment is much more difficult and your ability to see and eliminate the enemy will be
tested. Your camouflage should cover you, your marker, and your gear. You don't want to
be seen or heard so come up with hand signals and jump around early. You would rather
hear a rattle now instead right before the ambush. When you are moving, go directly to the
next position that provides cover. When you get to cover, be prepared to provide fire for
your teammates if needed. Stay low when you are moving and when you stop, keep a low
profile. Always assume the enemy is near...keep your eyes open! Maintain a line of sight
with a team member and go out of your way to maintain your cover. When you encounter
the enemy, drop for cover and fire on the enemy. When your teammate encounters the
enemy, provide cover fire and attempt to flank. Be quiet until the fight begins, then be
vocal about where the fire is coming from. Try to keep good cover at all times and don't
pursue the enemy into a crossfire. If you are in a flag game, once you get to the flag, make
sure all the enemy are dead or at least out of the area. It's a bummer to get shot like that.

Mobile Tactics require good eyes, good Deception Tactics, and the ability to
dive for cover and then eliminate the defender.  When you encounter the enemy give them
NO QUARTER .
Rain paint on them.

FUGITIVE TACTICS

This is the most dangerous game and if you are not careful you will be killed
quickly. The Fugitive requires a combination of Sniper and Fast Mobile Tactics. Shoot
and move seems to be the only way to get a high number of eliminations. Concealed positions are
imperative for getting the surprise attack and swift discrete movement is needed to stay
alive and set up the next position. If you get pinned down, fire on the closest enemy and
scare the rest. The closest will probably be in range and not well covered. The rest of the
enemy will be well covered and will only be good targets when they try to change position.
Lastly, Use the five minutes wisely, come up with a plan quickly and stick to it.
PS. It?s a lot harder to run uphill than to run downhill. Good Luck!
