Nat and Adrian me at Emily's wedding to Charlie in May of 1999. Adriam had to make a phone call. I was on my way when my truck broke downin Benson ,Ariz. I didnt even get to make the rehearsal dinner he stated. Nat and adrian had to walk down the aisle together .Becuz of that he was dubbed the last groomsman and was paired with the first bridesmaid who just happen to be Nat.Nat recalls the first thing she said to him was we missed u last niteand then she grabgbed his arm and said u r late. U where suppost to be here yesterday. As Adrian tryed to explain him self the 2 started smiling and has not been apart since.
The Wedding Day
The Dixie Chicks had a sold out show in Las Vegas at the Thomas and Mack Arena . With only a security guard and a photographer it took them 45 mins after the show to be married . They where married at A Little White Wedding Chapel they had a simple midnight candle lite ceremony . Nat and Adrian planned it 2 weeks in advanced . Adrian asked natalie's parents for her hand in marriage , Adrians parents knew. and Emily and Martie knew a few days in advance . Nat s stylist helped her get adrians ring.Nats gown was a one of a kind vintage champagne -tinted gown of Austrian crystals , designed by Gucci di Saint Angelo. Adrain wore steel grey Prada suit with a black ruffle Gucci shrit .Despite the quickie wedding ,Adrian and Natalie took their vows very seriously. after the cememony the couple bought purple t shirts with hearts on them . They went to the Mandalay casino and played black jack and roulette and won $740.
