Nat came into this world kicking and screaming on October 14, 1974 . The doctor looked at the proud parents and said " It's a GIRL" then he looked back at them at exactly said Do you want me to put her back in ?" Tina said she has a audio tape that will back her back up on what the doctor said hehe. Needless to say that her parents could see that Nat had some strong pipes of her own when she came into this world.
Tina recalls her Nat only being 4 and singing Greese Lightin on table tops at an ice cream palor (Baskin- Robbins) for every one around could hear. Growing up in a family like Nat's that isnt really hard to belive , i mean just look at her dad and Nat's grandfather . Llyod (Nat's Dad) legendary steel guitar and not to mention he is a producer . Those who don't know he helped the Chicks produce HOME there new album.He was the 2nd generation . Nat's grandfather and his brothers where the orginal. So as u can see Nat is the 3 rd generationin this country show that her family started. Nat got to set around the stage and even be on stage as earlier as 3 so she had got lots of tips and in close ups with being there all the time.She would even spend summers their with her family.
In high school Nat was a member of the school choir and was also a cheerlead the punk kind with the shave head, hehe!!After high school she attend Texas tech and waited tables at Orlandos. Then she made a demo tape that got her a scholarship to Berklee School Of Music in Boston. This was Nat's first time of leaving home . But Nat didnt know that her life was about to take a major turn around. Llyod starting manging a young group the Dixie Chicks and it just so happen that a lot of things just wasnt planning out with them and thier group adn it was time for them to make some changes and this would make them have to give up a lead singer . So then all the doors open up for Nat after her dad had gavin them a copy of Nat's demo that she had usen to get in to Berklee. Martie and Emily loved it and had to have that voice in their band. So they called her up and had asked her to sing You were mine , from then Nat knew what was going on. she knew what they where up too.They was askin her questions like would u consider a career in singin country music .The nite that Emily and Martie called Nat to ask her to join them Nat told them that she had a big Econmic test and a volleyball game . and bout 4 days later she checked out of school and became a Dixie Chick. She had to learn 25 songs in less then a week. WOW!! This was all in Oct.1995!

It wasn't always that this was her name u know , she was married to Michael Tarabay they married in May of 1997. It was just a small wedding that took place in Nat's parents home. The marriage didnt last but 18 months Nat said she had gottin the confindence when she became a Dixie Chick to say ok i am happy in every thing BUT this one . She said to that she was young . They filled for dirvoce in Jan of 1999. She said she had jumped the gun and gottin married before she knew what love was.
Things got a little speedy from there Dixie Chicks signed with Sony's Monument Label in 1996 for Wide Open Spacesand it would not be released until 1998 but every thing else would be keepin the Chicks busy. After it was releases the Chicks racked up top 10 , and number one hits . and then they started rackin up grammy awards and etc.Nat had a idea that they would get chicken feet to celebrate each mile stone of the career they have 9 today they should have 11 so they are 2 behind .SO for every # 1 song every time their album goes gold are platinum they add a new chicks feet.
But Nat would not be alone for long as Theresa says on Passions fate was workin for this Chick and it brought her to met Adrian Pasdar an actor. She met him at Dixie Chicks' Emily Erwin wedding to country star Charlie Robison. Nat was Emily's bridesmaid and she was paired up with Adrian.It was all in the making from there. Nat and Adrian can't seem to agree on what he had said first to him He said it was You're late and she said it was We missed you last nite. so i wonder if he ever agreed with her Adrian u cant agree with NAT she is a woman and we are always right no matter what ,hehe. Adrian had some bad luck the nite before his car had broken down so he didnt get to make the rehearsel dinner the night before .Adrian nearly 10 yrs older then Nat was living in Los Angeles when they first met and needless to say it didnt take Nat long to move out there with him . She wanted to be with him so she packed all her things and moved right out there too. Ralph is Natalie's baby will pet baby that is he was a travel pet that Adrain gave Nat . He was also her date to the CMA Award Show too since Adrain was busy
with his work.Ralph is in commercial for the FLY tour too he was the Chicks mascot. Natalie now has a Blonde Lab named Mabel too. On June 24,2000 NAt and Adrain wed . After a sold out show . If u want more details click here. About their big night .
Adrain annoucned on Aug 13 on a Live With Regas that he was gonna be a daddy . That Nat and him was expectin there first little chicklet .In then in October the Chicks announced that they where gonna spend the next yr out of the spot light . That would of been 2001 . That Nov. they found out that the first dixie chicklet was gonna be a boy.Nat and Adrian had decided on a name and it was Jack Slade . Because as Nat said it sounds cool. they are gonna call him Slade .
On March 15 Jackson Slade enter the world SLADE as they call him he weighed in at 6 lbs and was 20 inches long . Click here to see more of Nat's Little bundle of joy.
