unfortunately there isn't much to this dream. it takes place in a popular club (which happens to be down the street from my place) where nick and i will hang out all the time. there's live music, good bands. one day, out of nowhere this club shuts down. you could probably guess how upset about it we were. then, the next day in the same location was the grand opening of a new recording studio. it was free of charge and people could rent it out for an entire day. the supplied all the necessary cables and microphones that may be needed. so nick and i took advantage of this and were the first ones to rent out this studios for orion's buckle. we've already got our drummer by this point, of course. so we're getting everything set up to find out that 1) our drummer can't show up, so it's more like a practice session for nick and me, and 2) anyone's allowed to come in after a certain time to watch the band play/record. so not only are there only two of us, but we also have to put on a show for about twenty to thirty people that show up. amidst these people are a couple guys from another band (my subconscious created these guys, therefore they do not actually exist). this was a rival band to orion's buckle and they were only there to criticize us the way through. fortunately, nick and i were able to get everyone to leave so we wouldn't have to put on a show. we recorded three tracks (guitar one, guitar two, and vocals) and discussed the volume level of each on the final version of the song. so we did get much accomplished. and that's about it.

thoughts
my analysis: i think this tells me that if we actually put effort into it, orion's buckle will, in fact, be a band. a band that gets things done. the rival band (which i think of as broken culture, mainly logan) signifies barriers that we'll have to overcome. if we can't stand a little criticism, we're not ready for anything. but we were able to block them out in the dream, so i don't think it should be too hard at all. for every band, there's always criticism. that's about as far as i can analyze this dream, considering i don't think it has some sort of deep hidden meaning to it.
