sorry about the delay, folks 8-31-2002 i haven't updated in a while because i've been caught up in other websites, the band, and more than anything else: school. school's going really well for me. as the last update suggests, katy and i are together again. our relationship is going really well, even during school, which was one of our biggest worries. so i'm really glad we're together and as happy as we are. auditions for jumpin' jupiter, the first school play, took place last wednesday and thursday. friday i found out that i made the part i was auditioning for (for those of you who know the play, it's the part of oscar bimbleton). i need to start working on my stage sneezes. as an update about the site itself, i have just added a new section to the "images" area of the website, called "pictures of katy"...one can only assume what that area of the site contains. i only have one picture there so far of katy and i playing "honey i love you" at tuesday's theatre guild meeting (the same day that i caught the picture of the black box ghost). that's all i have to say today. keep checking in on the site for new updates! -dave

monsieur archbanger 8-10-2002 the long-awaited for and much anticipated "archie archbanger's adventures in the underworld" has just released "episode ii: a reunion" to its shelves. check it out now, while it's still available! i took a break from writing, but this morning i had absolutely nothing to do so i just whipped up something off the top of my head and put it down as archie archbanger, episode ii. it fits in, though. i hope. i tell you now, that i have no idea where this story is going. there is no definite storyline and i think i only have this thing planned up through episode iv so far. so email me at dave@hstudios.every1.net with the subject line as "archie archbanger suggestion" and fill it out with your suggestion for a later episode in the archie series. please try to keep it going along with the concept of the underworld and santa fe. the gang will never stray outside santa fe, the underworld, heaven, or infinite nirvana (which hasn't been introduced yet) so don't even suggest it. soon enough, once "underworld" is finished, after say..twenty or twenty-five episodes, i will be continuing on to more archie projects. if you wish, you may email me at the afore-mentioned address with a suggestion as to what a much later adventure will be. please don't make it something dull like "archie archbanger's adventure to the ice cream stand" because that would consume a total of about one episode. i want something i can make an entire series out of. with that said, goodbye. -dave
all good things must come to an end 8-05-2002 this afternoon, katy and i broke up. i don't plan on going into details because if you know me then you'll probably get them sooner or later from one of us. that's all for today. -dave
class schedule 2002-2003 8-01-2002 so i woke up early this morning so nick and i could swing by the school and pick up our class schedules. i can't say i'm completely satisfied with mine. i've got all the classes i want, yes, but they went and completely fucked up the order of things for the second semester. i know, i know that sometimes the same periods are inconveniences to teachers in different semesters, but having my entire schedule turned upside-down is kind of an inconvenience to me. if they can go and put everything in order, then i'll have the same classes in the same order in the same rooms with the same teachers all the way through the year. i'd like that. though i'm always up for change and i live for spontaneity, this is an exception. i do not like getting used to one schedule at school and then having to go and get used to an entirely new one for another semester. i'm happy to say that if nothing is changed, then i will have a class with nick in the first (or second, i don't remember) semester. i'm willing to sacrifice that, though, if that's what it takes to straighten this thing out. katy says that i'm being inconsiderate to the teachers and people that work in the house office. again, if that's what it takes... on a happier note, orion (now going between two names- "yellow five" and "seven circles", most likely we'll be called yellow five) will be in the studio today. we were supposed to go yesterday, but we'd only be able to stay for three to four hours. today it's about seven or eight hours of nonstop noise. i'll love it, even though my throat will be killing me by the time i get home. which is good, because i won't have to do much talking tomorrow...until "puttin' on the hits." puttin' on the hits is something that kindercare (daycare company my mom's worked with for about fourteen years) has been doing for years. they've asked me to be a judge for the show. i'm looking forward to this for two main reasons. one, i'm getting out of the house for about three hours and two, i'm getting out of the house for about three hours. so fun should be had. |
