not a lot happened in january. after posting an ad on dallasmusician.com, though, i had four people representing four different bands contact me in a span of two days. they want my vocal and/or bass-playing skills. they want to use me. considering i'm weak and more-than-willing to be used in such cases, i'm hyped about it. there's one band in particular that makes my eyes and ears twinkle, but said band won't have its name mentioned until after i've met the guys and given them a thorough demonstration of my vocal capabilities. we'll see what happens.

aside from that...january's been just another month. i'm enjoying my creative writing class more than anything else. more than theatre, even. it gives me a great chance to express myself openly. writing has always been something i've loved. i love it more than acting. i love it more than singing or playing any instrument. i don't love it more than everything but me putting writing before my guitar gives you a good idea of how much i still love it anyway.

so i suppose that's all.

this brand-new year

so it's a whole new year. i'd go into detail about 2002 and everything, but i already did that on my livejournal so if you'd like to read about it there's a link on the links page. to sum it up, 2002 was a pretty grand year. i'm looking forward to 2003. let's hope it treats me well!
