Who is this guy?

So it's been almost a year and a half and--while I haven't forgotten about it--I've completely ignored my website and the millions of fans of mine that rabidly refresh the page twenty-two hundred-or-so times a day to see whether or not I've updated it. Well, my fans can rejoice because here I am.

What in the world have I been up to? Quite a bit, to tell the truth. The last time I updated was shortly after I'd left for A&M. I spent a year there, had a good time, but failed some classes and ran out of money. So this most recent January I began attending school at the Collin County Community College here in town. While at A&M, Holly (my old high school sweetheart for a couple months in my sophomore year) and I hooked up when I invited her to come spend a weekend with me. One thing led to another and now we're engaged. So that's exciting.

Holly is now living with my family and I back here in Allen. I'm working at Napoli's Pizza for the second time (the first time was last Summer when I was home from A&M for a few months) as a delivery driver. I've been able to save up enough money to have all sorts of good times, including last Summer's trip to Colorado, a trip to the Dallas Zoo, the Dallas Aquarium, the Dallas Symphony, the Dallas Museum of Art, and in a little over a week Holly and I will be driving down to San Antonio for a few nights (amounting to somewhere around $600).

I've also been publishing my music on UnsignedBandWeb.com under the name Jack Maisie, Jr. (a name derived from a combination of names in Nick Hornby's High Fidelity) and up until very recently I was ranked as one of the top ten artists (out of thousands) on the entire site.

Unfortunately, that's about it.
