Current Employment Status:
I HAVE A JOB!!! After an interview with Kyle at Kroger today, I am now a part of the Kroger family. I'll start working next week after an orientation on Tuesday (probably). I'll only be making $5.25/hr, but that's far better than what I'm getting from sitting in my bedroom on the computer.

Saturday is the theatre banquet. I didn't make Honor Thespian. Oh, well. I'm confident and believe I'll get at least one award this weekend. I have my 20's apparel finally, and I look mighty fine in it. I can't wait to wear it for all my friends. Suspenders! Rock on, pin-striped boy!

So, this morning I woke up and got ready for school, climbed into my car, and suddenly realized it's Saturday. Yep. So. On with the update.

Easter: Went well. Great food, boring church, and that's about it.
Phoenix: Phoenix simulation was a lot of fun. It's only too bad that that was both my first and last simulation because of early graduation. Auburn became the Nuclear Whipping Boys (since Auburn "doesn't do covers," according to Chad Gilson, frontman). They did a really great job of covering Purple Haze, Hey Joe, and Sunshine of My Love.
Prom: Fantastic. Katy and I took tons of pictures everywhere we went. Dinner was at Baby Doe's Matchless Mine in Dallas (same place the family went for Easter brunch). Dinner was so delicious. We got several compliments from people at the restaraunt, some regarding our "class." Wowie! The dance was a lot of fun. Katy didn't win Queen, but that's fine. She's still my Prom Queen. *pause to allow the SAPPY to sink in* Afterprom was... myeh. I had more fun going around with Ashley, Justine, Nicki, Chris, and Bunker than I did with Katy. Sad, but true. She was busy with the casino and whatnot when the big group of us was going around playing fun games. After Afterprom, I slept at Katy's house. We were too worn out at 5:00am to go to Ashley's house down the street.

Those were the major things that needed updating, like I said I would. On to other things...

Job status: Pending. I've had two interviews with Hot Topic and my hopes are high with this one. I'd love to work there, regardless of the fact that employees only get minimum wage. I'll be working the theatre summer camp for two weeks in June making $8.00/hour for 25 hours a week. $400 total. That oughtta help pay for some of my car.
Early graduation: I'm definitely doing it. I've turned in my schedule for next year, which includes the following: One semester of Phoenix, Theatre, Tech. Theatre, and Calculus and Economics. I haven't signed up for the summer courses yet, but I'll be taking a semester's-worth of English IV and Government. It's all settled. I am graduating early, like it or not. Frankly, I'll be overjoyed to get out of Allen High School. I just feel so out-of-place there.
