birthday wishes 11-30-2002 so yesterday was my birthday. all-in-all it went pretty well. from my family i got a beautiful yamaha acoustic guitar, as well as a strap, stand, and an extra set of strings for it. i also got a guitar manuscript book...that may come in handy for when i actually start writing down my music. also, i got a t-shirt for the show "stomp" which katy and i went to see back in august. it was a great show, and therefore, it's a great t-shirt. from katy i recieved kurt cobain's journals which, although i've barely read any of it yet, is already on my "best books ever" list. she also gave me a big honkin' bottle of v8. man, i love v8. that's great stuff. it's good for me, too. last night katy treated me with dinner at olive garden. afterwards we went to see 007: die another day. it was a pretty decent movie. it had an action scene or two where the effects were pretty cheesy and it was obviously shot on a greenscreen. other than that, though, i really liked it. i think i had a pretty good 17th birthday. two thumbs up. |
