happy birthday, guys 9-26-2002 i figure, since i wasn't able to do anything better due to my lack of cash (this won't be too much better, but it's the thought that counts) i'll make this update all about nick and chuck. yesterday was nick's 17th birthday. he's been a great pal to me since 7th grade when we created that band so long ago and called it "labelmaker." that band is still around today as broken culture. though nick and i are no longer in that band, we do have our own thing going now called new roman. i think nick is a very talented person and i'm really proud to have him as a friend. chuck's 17th birthday is today. chuck has been with me ever since i moved to texas, almost 15 long years ago. chuck is someone i can trust and someone i can talk to (i may not ask him for advice very often, but believe me...if i need it, i'll ask you chuck). chuck is extremely creative with his art and i'm a very fortunate person to have such a great sidekick. chuck and nick, i love you guys like brothers and even though sometimes we're not as close to each other as other times, i never want to lose you as my best friends. you're great guys. happy birthdays. -dave
