"We were doing a show and Jewel was on the side of the stage watching us. And, of course, we all had a crush on Jewel, so we were trying to be extra bad asses. Well, we missed a break in the song and started playing in different directions. It turned into a train wreck. When we pulled it back together, I looked over and she was gone. I thought, damn, my one time to impress Jewel and I blew it."
