Greetings from Russell's Remnant:
"You don't live life. Life is living you." These were the first words I ever heard Dr. Russell Whitesell say in this lifetime. He also strongly emphasized the fifth line of the soul mantram, "I am fixed design." The following are some other statements which echo these two statements:
I (Soul) am here. Be still and know I will do all that is needed.
To the disciple naught occurs but what is in the Plan.
For a pupil of the Master, nothing comes but what leads to development and increased usefulness. You are being guided and he who sees the end from the beginning makes no errors. Proceed knowing as an occult fact past your altering - a law immovable - that nothing can happen but what is for the best.
Have patience to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear. Remain unmoved till the right action arises by itself.
In conflict, I (Morya) promise the faithful ones, in every situation, We will safeguard your dignity.
We are completely in the hands of a higher will. Either we are responsible for everything or God is.
Let the unseen hand of nature work on you. If something isn't good for you, you won't have to reject it. Something will happen, you will be taken and put somewhere else, away from it. Your conscious rejection isn't necessary, because there is a cosmic intelligence that will direct you to your best service. The cosmic intelligence takes care of everything. It puts you in certain places; and, when you are finished there, puts you somewhere else. We always want to use our intelligence to decide what is right or wrong, but in truth, it is impossible for us to know what is really right or wrong. When things do not turn out the way you hoped, remember that is because some higher force wanted it to be different.
We are here to give and give and give. What is due to us will come without our worrying about it.
"Work without attachment" for you know not with exactitude what the goals are for you.
When the disciple interiorly holds the right attitude (even if bewildered) the decision is seldom his. Life, circumstances, events or people take care of the situation, and the disciple stands steady until the problem or relationship disappears.
Take the bitter things for sweet.
Silence is the best answer. Stand back and be the observer.
God's Will will be done, not yours.
You are not the doer - God is. You are only a channel.
Stay at the center of the wheel and don't react to anything. Let all things take their course - going up, on top, going down, on bottom.
The Teachers will use you when they know that "you will never react in any situation" - (on the straight, narrow, middle Path.)
