Russell Whitesell informed his groups, "It is better to sacrifice yourself for your family, even better to sacrifice your family for your community, your community for your state, your state for your country, and better still - your country for your planet."

He talked about how great light was given off when the atom was smashed and that that same light can be given off when you smash your own atoms (sacrificing yourself) which incidentally creates a beautiful aura.

He sacrificed his own welfare by refusing to take large sums of money for his services. He would explain, "I'll charge money for my advise when the Sun charges for sunlight." He did take small donations to defray his travel expenses. He believed that a workman is worthy of his hire. He also gave away thousands of dollars to those he thought needed the money more than he. This he did in secret or anonymously. Don't let your right hand know what the left is doing.

The Will is an expression of the Law of Sacrifice. DN2 309

The Law of Sacrifice (connected to the 4th ray) is the first law grasped by human intelligence and is the easiest for man to understand. The theme of all world religions has been divine sacrifice. EP2 87+

"Forgiveness" means "to give for." Forgiveness is not therefore, a synonym for pardon though the word has been distorted in theological circles to mean this. Forgiveness is sacrifice and giving up one's self. EOH 165
