T.N.G. SIGNS OF THE TIMES - N.M. October 20, 1998 (#63)

Greetings from Russell's Remnant:

Bright/Dark Days

The following three paragraphs were given by D.K. in respect to the way to schedule the work year, work month and work day in the future esoteric schools on the planet. The instructions were given for schools; however, it would appear that this type schedule would be applicable to any type application that an esoterically minded person could benefit from.

The school year will be divided into two halves: when the sun moves northward - the 1st half of the year wherein the pupils acquire knowledge and the second half, when the sun moves southward, wherein he assimilates and puts into practice what was learned. This is separated by six weeks of vacation where all mental work is saved except meditation. He writes during the "dark period" for publication. LOM 325+

Studies each month will be so arranged that the harder part (dealing with the higher mind) will be undertaken during the bright half of the month, while the work of the dark half will be given over to things concerning lower mind and to an effort to hold the gain of the earlier weeks. LOM 326

Each day will be likewise divided into set times, the earlier hours being given to the more abstract and occult data; the latter part of the day given over to more practical type of work. LOM 326

The year should be divided into two main parts with one rest period:

When the Sun moves Northward - (Winter Solstice)

study, of accumulation of facts and concrete knowledge.

Six Weeks Rest Period: Rest entirely from mental work, Meditation is okay.

When the Sun moves Southward - (Summer Solstice)

Each month should be divided into two periods:

Bright Half of the Month - (From the new moon to the full moon.)

Dark Half of the Month - (From the full moon to the new moon.)

Each day should be divided into two periods:

Earlier Part of the Day - (Sunrise to Noon.)

More abstract and occult data given.

Later Part of the Day - (Noon to Sunset.)

Retire at 10:00 p.m. Review the day until 10:30 p.m.
