T.N.G. SIGNS OF THE TIMES - N.M. November 8, 1999 3:54 GMT (#76)

Greetings from Russell's Remnant:

In the fall of 1976, Russell Whitesell began his weekly lectures here in New Orleans. Soon after, a ferryboat carrying cars and passengers was sunk in the Mississippi River north of New Orleans tragically killing many people. During his next lecture, Russell was asked about the event. He just said that perfect justice had occurred. This took some people aback.

After the Russians shot down Korean Jet Flight 707, Russell was asked what the Hierarchy thought about the tragic event. He stated that the Masters probably didn’t even take notice of such an event. This also caught some of his class off guard. He reminded the class that D.K. pointed out that he (D.K.) only looks at his disciples every thousand years or so – unless the disciple does something so selfless that the disciple’s light of the soul is greatly enhanced. This quick increase of light around the disciple, will catch the Teacher’s eye. It is safe to assume that the Teachers do not look at the personality events of disciples, much less the personality events of non-disciples. They have much more important work to attend to than to get tied up in watching humans living out their karma.

In the late 1970’s, a young New Orleans college student was walking down St. Charles Avenue. An assailant attacked him with a knife. The student died of a stab wound in the chest. The community was horrified. The family and friends of the student were appalled at event. They talked of how wonderful this young man had been. He was a bright young man who was kind and had never hurt anyone in his life. No one could figure out why this had happened. Why had God taken this young man?

At Russell’s next lecture, someone asked him why this had happened? Russell said, "He earned it!" The questioner then asked how had he earned it. Russell then gave one of his brief lectures about karma. He stated that the young man had stabbed someone in the chest in a previous life. This resulted in the death of the stabbed person. At the exact moment of the stabbing, the young man who did the stabbing had a stab wound, similar to the one he had just inflicted, recorded into his own etheric body. This etheric stab wound was exactly the same as the one he had administered. The results of the stab wound was also recorded by the etheric body.

Now in this life, the kind, bright, wonderful young man was peacefully walking down the avenue and was killed. His etheric body had an open knife wound inviting an attack which would result in death. His etheric body was unprotected in that spot. It was inviting a knife wound so that perfect justice could occur. "As ye sow so shall ye reap even though the reaping comes a thousand years hence," was Russell’s oft quote. - (Note: This is the original Biblical quote, but was modified by the church.) The events of this life are not the results of this life but of a previous life.

Russell loved this great law of karma. He stated that this great law cannot be averted by a rich uncle who can buy off your karma. A powerful father cannot protect his child from this karma. The church cannot bless you and save you from this karma. You cannot accept some avatar as your religious leader and be saved from this karma. You cannot buy an indulgence from the church fathers and be saved from this karma.

Recently, two deranged teenagers, killed over twenty people in Littleton, Colorado. As our class watched the event, we wondered how many in our country know that this was an act of perfect justice. There was no injustice done here. Each person had an opening in their etheric body that invited the bullet that killed them. The family and friends are left with no answers. The college professors cannot explain it, the police can’t, the ministers can’t, the lawyers can’t, the doctors can’t, the psychiatrists can’t, and the journalists can’t. The only people who can explain this to the suffering parents are the esoteric disciples who know about the great law of karma - those who have been taught by a great Teacher. (The Hierarchy will not accept new disciples who do not accept the laws of karma and "cause and effect".)

One of Russell’s disciples believes that the only thing that will eventually change the world is knowing about the law of karma and the law of cause and effect. At first people will stop hurting other people because they believe that they will be hurt if they hurt another person. They will do the right thing for the wrong reason, but at least they will stop hurting others. Eventually, they will do the right thing for the right reason – they will then be in Soul.
