DSP -- About FetBot

FetBot is a directory of fetish (kinky) links, organized by categories. Each
category is maintained by one or more editors. These are ordinary people,
interested in the fetish lifestyle, who volunteered to help us creating
the biggest fetish directory in the world. You can see fetbot at
<http://www.fetbot.com/>

The original idea for an "open directory project" belongs to Netscape
Communications. The open directory project for all kinds of sites is
located at <http://www.dmoz.org>. You might want to check it out.
Unfortunately DMOZ is oriented to the mainstream web sites and the
fetish/bdsm section is rather poor.

By the way, the people at Fetbot (from whom the previous two paragrgraphs
were taken) tend to use the term "fetish" where I would use "kink", or
more formally, "alternative sexuality".

I was for a while one of the many volunteer editors at fetbot. However,
fetbot is no longer using "editors" it is now up to the site owner, or anyone who
knows of a relevant site to submit it for listing in the fetbot directory.

If you know of links appropriate for other categories (and there are a
great many others on this site) you can go to the site and suggest them
yourself. The more sites listed, the more that FetBot becomes a useful
tool for finding kinky sites.

i hope that this site will be useful to many people here.

I want to be clear -- fetbot is *not* my site, other people created
and maintain it, I am just a fan of it.
