It was probably a long while later when Kavan strode into the Dragons’ Fly with a look on his face that seemed to speak of murder even as he tried to contain the look of pleasantry. Karamex stopped her work to pause and stare as the usually submissive lad walked up to Kamar and threw his body into a punch. Suffice to say, it was impressive enough hat all movement seemed to stop except for the harsh breathing of Kavan.

“You son of a wher.” He spat, and his curses grew more obscene as he lunged for the youth on the ground. However this time Kamar was prepared, and in an even match they began to fight each other. Yet Kavan had more fire, more rage within him as if his life depending on beating his old friend. Dustan, noting the fight paused and shoved his way forewords, preparing to defend his friend when two steel like cold hands caught him and held on. Looking down, he saw with surprise that it was Jintha who was stopped him, Kamar’s number one groupie.

“Don’t interrupt.” She said, standing up for an old childhood friend. “You know Kavan well enough that he would never attack anyone unless he had a good reason.” Dustan acknowledged this, and yet he ached that he could not help out his friend in need.

However, there was no need when Kavan hurled his words like a spear.

“I told you to protect me sister- and the first thing you do is get her with child?!”

All movement seemed to still, and even Dustan stopped struggling as all looked on. Kista could be heard cursing, and yet no one really cared as people watched Kamar’s reaction.
It wasn’t what they expected.

“What?” there was pure shock on his face as he looked at Kavan, his chest heaving. “With child?”

“You didn’t know.” It was then that all the fight seemed to drain out of his face as he watched the other man blankly. “You didn’t know she was with your child? It’s been half a turn!”

“I saw her yesterday….” It was true; they had developed a rather serious relationship, something that Kista had loathed. “She never said anything…”

“That’s because it was none of your business.” The crimson haired young woman walked in with a cold expression on her face- not directed at Kamar, but at her brother.

“You couldn’t wait before you decided to ruin my reputation by yelling out my predicament across the entire inn?”

Her brother, as if realizing just what he had done blushed. “Keena.” He said, starting softly. “I only wanted to help you…”

“His child?!” the shriek caught people off guard as Kista stormed forewords. “You brazen hussy, don’t you know how to deal with these things yet?”

Keena blinked, surprised at this sudden attack. “Kista.” She started, and yet as if knowing it was useless, said instead. “I know.” Looked over with a poisonous look at her brother, she confessed. “I was going to…”

“Get rid of it without telling me?” Kamar approached her hesitantly, and she stubbornly looked away as if not wanting to face reality.

“Well… what would we have done about it?”

“But it’s your baby.” This soft, quiet voice echoed from the corner of the room belonged to Mika as she walked forewords, eyes widening as she paused in front of them. “You were going to kill your baby.” No one knew what to say, for there was something hurt in her eyes as she said this.

Karamex cursed the situation, and she was prepared to get up and move when Mino held her firmly by her hand.

“Let them handle this.” He whispered roughly, and yet there was a look of care in his eyes as he watched her. “Please.”

“That’s my daughter.” She struggled. “I didn’t have her at that age to watch her learn the world wrongly…”

“But she’s growing up.” showing the first sign of sense in too long, Mino held her. “Look.”

She did, almost instinctively as Duvan separated himself from the shadows and approached Mika with a patient look in his eyes, and as he reached her he whispered something into her ear. Something calming, something supportive that no one really knew.
Mika looked up at him, and protested as she pointed to the scene, as if protesting that the argument was actually taking place. Before they could cause her own scene however, Kooska stepped forwards and neatly picked up the younger girl before taking her to where Dahn was sitting.
Dahn smiled then, a proud smile. While everyone else seemed to be failing in the art of love, her and Kooska seemed to be thriving in it all. Grinning that stupid grin, she caught her lover’s eye and the smile grew as while the younger woman blushed, she hardly looked away. Muttering three words that could only be heard by the both of them, she smiled.

Mita walked in and frowned, not knowing what had happened. Slowly he had been integrated into the tiny community with the help of Duvan and Beena- yet that didn’t mean he understood anything any better because he was looking lost. Beena approached him, and as she whispered what had recently happened, he smiled that slightly ironical smile.
During the past half turn he had grown closer to Beena, and yet not in the way of lovers. More like friends, for they both had a slightly idle glance in their eyes that seemed to make them suiting partners. Walking over and placing a hand on Beena’s shoulder, he frowned.
No matter how many times people tried to make him feel welcome, it was at moments like this when he felt acutely just how lost he was.

“Kista, please.” Koomi muttered softly, looking up at her idol.

Kista looked over, and a sane part of her, the part that made her someone to be idolized seemed to take control as she sighed, rolling her eyes as she did so. “Keena.” She said gently. “Feelings aside… this is now a public matter. Will you keep the child, raise it as your own or rid yourself of it?” she winced at the way the words came out, and struggling, she placed a hand on Keena’s. “We all know of it.” She said simply. “Your decision is ours.”
