Dragonfly

Words from the hatching

Beena(f) and Araebith(f)

A tiny egg shook more vigerously and exploded into a rain of shards. Candidates shielded their eyes in reaction before turning to the new dragonet- most rather shaken after the experiance. It was a green- horned and snarled like so many before it. She flapped her wet wings- mainly in disgust before darting towards the candidates, weaving between their legs before bumping into Beena, knocking her over- not meaning to, of course.

Beeeeena! Feed meeeee! She announced with a proud swish of her tail. Beena laughed, pulling herself back to her feet before stroking the little dragonet's head.

"Will do, Araebith." She replied, leading her new bond from the sands as the audience- still drowsy- auplauded the first hatching of the clutch. Alessi relaxed slightly, reaching up to rub an eye in fatigue.

Mitar(m) and Astilakith(m)

A rather large egg rolled, toppling into another and both shattered to reveal two creeling dragonets, and the audience gasped. These dragons... were...

"Normal..." Alessi whispered breathlessly. Onlilah approaches her side, staring at the two young beasts- a blue and a brown- in interest.

"Perhaps... the chemical is dying off..." She offered with a stiff nod. Alessi didn't reply, she just watched the two offspring curiously as they started off to chose their new riders.

The blue miffed at all the attention being drawn to his brown brother, and with a flick of his tail sent sand spraying all over the boys. They cried out in surprise, shielding their faces. The blue nodded proudly as all eyes turned to him before darting into the crowd.

Mitar! You're mine! The blue announced with a proud bugle. Mitar snickered as the dragonet took his robes in mouth, tugging at them in direction of the exit.

"All right, Astilakith! Let's get going!" He replied, leading his new bondmate away with the applause of the audience following.
