Dragonfly

Kavan looked over with one of those irritated expressions that were on his face too often these days to count. Muttering something about how women could be no more irritating then a green about to clutch, his narrows eyes caught the victim of the violet haired candidate with a ferocity that alarmed even her.

“Kavan.” Clucking her tongue and looking around, she yelped as one of those winged wolf things passed too closely. It wasn’t Pernese, and to admit the truth it scared her to have something like that so near. Okay, so she was a little bit traditional. “Don’t be so moody.”

“I’m not being moody. Merely annoyed.” Yet he couldn’t help but grin at the wary way both wolf and candidate seemed to eye each other. “I should have been with my sister when she went through all of that…”

“Since when were you her keeper?” she shot back. “I’m sure she’s fine… relax, have fun. This is Falas, you know.”

“Since she was born…” however his mutterings were lost as he sighed, and the pleasant, slightly idiotic expression appeared on his face once more. “Alright.” He conceded. “I’m a candidate at Falas.” His lips quirked into a grin. “Have to admit, sounds good. Doesn’t it?”
