The Viper GTS Coupe is a high-performance grand touring automobile inspired by the classic endurance racing machines of the not-too-distant past. Though identical mechanically to the RT/10 Roadster, the Viper GTS has its own unique character, set apart by its racing-style fuel filler door and rear spoiler.

The Viper GTS-R was created in response to customer requests for an all-out racing version of the GTS Coupe. Each limited edition GTS-R is designed and built as a race-only vehicle, based on the requirements of the purchaser. Next to the GTS-R itself, this could be the slickest Viper ever. A limited edition commemorative version of the Viper GTS Coupe, the GT2 Championship Edition shares some features with the GTS-R - like the high-mounted rear wing, the special badging and graphics, Ground Effects Package, and the ORECA five-point restraint system. (GT2 no longer available from the factory.)
