NOTE:
Martingale collars require two measurements.  The first measurement should be taken at the smallest part of the neck, which is usually just behind the ears, the second measurement should be taken around the throat area including the ears.  This measurement is needed so the loop will be large enough for the collar to slip over the ears when you put it on..  The other styles of collars only need the neck measurement at the smallest part........
