Short ID: FC71.
Title: Allemande.
Composer: Francois Campion.
Source: Nouvelles decouvertes sur la Guitarre.
           Page 36.
Date: 1705.
Facsimile: Minkoff (1977), page 63.

Tuning: B D G D G (tuning 7).
Time sig: C with slash ("cut time" symbol).

Fixes and modifications and comments (M=measure r=rhythm s=string):
M4r5 original showed 4er. Changed to 8th here.
M8r2-6 Campion notated 32nds, but in modern notation this is a 16th-note
    quintuplet.
M21r1 original showed 4er (dot missing). Changed to dotted-4er here.

Tablature elements to be added by hand:
Slurs. If only a starting point is given, slur includes all the following
uninterrupted notes on the same string.
    M8 r2-4s2, r4-6s2 (connected slurs).
    M19 r4-5s1.
Take a moment to fill out the 16th-note beam.
  M8r2-6 quintuplet indication.

Strums: Arrowheads ^ and v indicate strums. Open strings in strummed chords
were not shown in the tablature; add as many open strings as sound good.
Take a moment to re-draw the ^ arrowhead right at the top of the associated
  stem.

Explanation of symbols:
" = trill (starting on upper neighbor).
, = mordent (none in this piece).
. = do not strum this string in the chord.
z = rest. Fill in to make a solid block.

Octave doublings: To keep certain musical lines intact on the modern guitar,
consider adding or substituting the next octave up. For example, see:
  m13r2 and m18r5.

Performance style: consider playing the 8th notes inegales, that is, as dotted
8ths or "swing" 8ths (triplet feel).

Leading measures in Campion's original tablature:
  1 5 8 12 15 18. Last measure is 22.
