| "Last week on Popstars it was down to the final ten. Jaymes, Brad and Tony made their final decision then traveled to each of the finalists homes. For some, the news was heartbreaking, but for the lucky six, it was the moment of a lifetime....(screaming). Tonight the popstars are revealed to each other when the kids move into their luxurious new home. They get down to business of being a popstar and they realize that being in a band is harder than any of them ever expected....." "Turn it off Jess!" Morgan reached for the remote as "I Really Don't Think So" blared through the surround sound speakers in Jessica's basement. "It's not your fault that Josh is gone." Jessica stated while acsending towards the speakers placed on the shelves. She reached out towards the volume knob and slowly faded the sound. "I know it's not my fault. I just miss him already. I can't imagine being away from him for so long." Morgan said as she slouched deeper into the fuzzy beanbag chair. The basement door swung open as Jessica's younger sister, Carrie, entered humming "I Really Don't Think So." Morgan sprung from her resting place, "I am so sick of this! Leave me alone! I'm through with this harassment!" The girls erupted in laughter as they all settled in to wach a new episode of Popstars. Jessica crossed to the speakers and turned up the volume full blast. Morgan sat back down in the lime green beanbag chair and Carrie danced her way to a spare place on the basement floor. She sprawled out on her stomach across the bright orange carpet with her feet in the air, completely ready to see if Moi had made the group. "I still miss him.." Morgan said in hopes of annoying her friend Jessica. Jessica knew it was a joke and showed it by playfully glaring at Morgan. Jessica climbed up the ropeladder to the loft where her and Carrie's waterbeds were. Jessica began throwing stuffed animals at Carrie and Morgan from up above. Carrie picked up one of the thrown teletubbies and tossed it over to Morgan who was intently watching the commercials on the big screen TV. "You guys! I have to see him! Shut up!" Morgan's expression turned serious as the two sisters exchanged glances. "Dude, it's just a preview for some lame show.." Carrie became defensive as she pointed at a Charmed preview. "So, who do you think made the group?" "Josh!!" Morgan laughed nervously. "Morgan, we weren't supposed to tell her!" Jessica threw another telletubby down at Morgan. Jessica knew that Carrie was wishing to see Moi. She called herself "Moi's invisible sex machine"...of course no one knew exactly what this meant. And they probably wouldn't want to know either. "Hey!! There he is!!" Jessica pointed at the screen as if the others didn't know where Josh was. "That Josh kid is one hot boy!" Morgan laughed. "No way. He picks his nose." Jessica stated matter-of-factly. Just because Jessica had grown up next door to Josh, she was comfortable with the fact that even he had flaws. Carrie laughed because she knew exactly what incident Jessica was referring to. "Wait! Didn't mom get Joshy that shirt for his 18th birthday?" Carrie asked, lost in confusion. During a pause of silence on the TV, the girls heard a slight tapping coming from the basement window, a few feet above. "Turn it down, I think I heard something." Jessica whispered to the girls as she lowered herself to the basement floor. The girls tensed up as jessica turned the TV off. Out of the corner of Morgan's eye, movement is seen coming from outside the window. She instinctly turned towards the movement and noticed the light outside. OUTSIDE: "Oh my God Jamie! Did you see that?" Mandi whispered into Jamie's ear.It was freezing outside but the girls didn't notice. All they noticed was that they were right outside of Josh Henderson's girlfriend's friends basement! *dun dun dun* (the was creepy XFiles/Twilight Zone music by the way) "YOu mean the way Morgan just flipped her hair. She was soooo thinking about Josh." Jamie whispered as she fidgited with the batteries in her flashlight. "I know! I could so flip my hair better than her. And you know what? Jackie would so fall in love with me if he saw my hair flip." Mandi pulled the hood of her jacket off dramatically and flipped her curly blonde hair through the still night air. The drizzling rain pattered her camouflage poncho. "Oh yeah, You know it. But what did I miss?" Jamie asked. "Ok. Well Morgan so totally just gave Dorothy 'that look'!" "No way! Oh No! I think they heard us, Quick! Hide!" The girls dropped to the ground and rolled into a nearby bush. The bush rattled tapping the basement window. Moment passed in silence. Mandi slowly rolled out of the bush, twigs sticking through her blonde curls, matted to her forhead from the rain. "Maybe they just thought we were a pack of wild dingoes?" Jamie rolled out after Mandi, "Wild dingoes in Oklahoma? Everyone knows that dingoes come from Texas! Duh!" INSIDE: "It was nothing you guys, chill out." Carrie plopped into Morgan's spot on the beanbag chair. After all, Morgan and Jessica were huddled in the corner hyperventilating from fear. Jessica had always been afraid of the silliest things. Morgan was mainling trying to calm her down. 'You say it's nothing now, but wait until ya'll have obsessive fans of your boyfriends chasing you around in camouflage." Morgan shuddered at the thought. The tapping noice had ended. Morgan and Jessica went back and reclaimed their former spots in front of the TV. Carrie flipped the power button on the TV just in time to see Moi's face flash across the screen. "Speaking of boyfriends, I want him..." Carrie pointed at Moi with a funny look on her face. "Shut up Carrie. He's too old for you." Jessica shoved her little sister. "What's a few years? Plus Moi probably likes younger chicks!" A silence passed after Carrie's last comment. "What? I mean...sure...I may only be 16 but...but...ummm..16 is...a fun number?" "I have a feeling you're thinking of the wrong number..." Morgan joked. Jessica's jaw dropped as she heard this comment. After all, it wasn't very appropriate. Morgan was just joking though. Go On To Page Two Back to Library |
