Cafe' Aroma is a wonderful restaurant located in the beautiful mountains of Idyllwild California. Aroma's serves some of the best food I have ever had including amazing soups, pastas and tons of different wines and beers. Check http://www.cafearoma.org for a current live music schedule and you might even see me! Say hi to Frank, Ubere and the crew and get ready for a wonderful time. |
33157 Camino Capistrano The Coach House is a great concert venue located in the city of San Juan Capistrano. Its a mid-size club that has seen the likes of just about every major act around at one time or another. I joined the Dennis Roger Reed band this time. DRRB is comprised of Jamie Holbrook on bass (of Dizzy Gillespie and beyond), Marty McFee on harp (Blue Mama), Dan Fuller on percussion, Dennis R. Reed on vocals and guitar, Tim Horrigan on keys (where do I start?) and lastly little old me on guitar. Yes, I now need to wear glasses when I play, if I want to see the fretboard. Clapton wears 'em. Come on. |
I joined fellow musicians Joey & Robin Latimer, vocals, guitar and bass along with a Barnaby Finch on keys, Paul Carmen on sax, John King on violin and some special guests to benefit a lovely lady, Marta. We played at the Silver Pines Lodge in Idyllwild. A great afternoon of music and positive vibes for a super nice lady. |

On Saturday April 6th, Don joined brother Dennis at this incredible venue which is actually a residence in the magical mountains of Modjeska. This night of acoustic music transcended the norm by the constant stellar mulit-instrument playing of Don and a comanding vocal presence by Dennis. Watch my schedule for an upcomming date at this great venue! |
45 N. Baldwin Ave. Beantown is a great cafe and concert showcase in the beautiful city of Sierra Madre. Come early and enjoy the very cool little shops along Baldwin and the surrounding blocks. I liked Sierra Madre Brewing Company for obvious reasons. |

On Saturday May 31st, Don joined his brother Dennis along with the wonderful vocals of Susie Glaze. Steve Rankin joined in with his excellent mandolin sounds for a great night of roots music. Ben Elder also supplied Beantown's calendar of events mid concert in his best Wildwood Flower radio show voice. Thanks for a great night of music and fun. Watch my schedule for an upcomming gig at this great venue! |
