For a Special Friend:

When I first met you, I didn't say much.
You were with my friend at the time.
Because of that I knew you were a good person.

The second time I met you
we had already become friends.
We talked all the time
but were still only just friends.

The more we talked, the better
I knew you.
I began to feel closer to you
more and more.
The when you found out,
I only began to care about you even more.

I was afraid of what my friend would say, so I didn't tell him.
When I gave you my question, It was the hardest thing
I ever did.

I didn't fear your answer,
but instead I feared losing
you as a friend.

Now I know that you will
always be a friend.
I no longer fear losing you.

I will always care for you.
You will always hold a piece
of my heart.
I just want you to be happy.
Just always remember the
feelings I have for you.

Friend:

I can talk to you about my problems, and you will listen to my fears.
When I am happy, you double
it for me.
When I am sad, you take some of my burden.
You are always there, supporting me
in my decisions, outcome good or bad.
You give me advice from the heart.
We have known each other for years,
or maybe only just met.
You show your care and love
of our bond.
For this I am ever thankful.
You are the best thing in the
world to me...
A Friend.
The Yellow Beast:

The Beast just sits there, basking in the sunlight, waiting for the command of his master. The sun bakes mud into its wheels. A shadow, small compared to the beast, appears over a hill. The Beast, oblivious to all, remains still in the heat. The Master brings water to the hot monster to cool it before a hard day of work. The Master climbs onto the Beast's head and starts it moving, dirupting its peace.

Cherries

Little round fruit,
Little red fruit.
You are tradition
On many dishes.
Sometimes baked,
Other times a topping.
You work so well,
On many things.
Always here,
All year round.
You are second to none.
Little red fruit,
Little round fruit.

*This one is for Ashley.

(Strawberries are still better!)
Monkey, monkey
Where are you?
Monkey, Monkey
Maybe in the zoo?
Monkey, Monkey
I want you.
Monkey, Monkey
In a tu-tu.
