Israel Electric Corporation in the statistics department. Mean while I teach statistics in the Open University.

Omer
As said before, I'm 6.6 years old (born in April 1996). As my parents lived in Haifa (ISRAEL) I was born there, in the Bney-Zion hospital.
When I was around 30 months old I was diagnosed with
PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder), To make thing simpler, you can call it AUTISM. Among other thing, my speech is not in clear, so from here on I'll let my parents do the talking for me.
Autism is communicating disorder that defects many fields of the daily functioning. Omer was indeed diagnosed in November 1997 when he was 31 months old - today autism (and its forms) can be diagnosed around one year old and less. Shortly after the diagnosis we referred to the Child Development Unit and we got (only) one hour a week, so we asked for more and we moved to Milman Center in Haifa. There we got 6 hours a week, and this increase of treatment was indicated well very quickly.
Next we put Omer in a special kindergarten for PDD in Haifa for a full day (9 hours a day) and we go to Milman Center for another 3 hours. On the past years from the diagnosis we can see a great progress in Omer's functioning, mainly because of the great effort in treatment.
When we moved to the Galil we moved Omer to the kindergarten class in HORSHA school in kibuz Hanita - this is special school for PDD. The HORSHA school moved near Acco last September 2002.
Because of the distance we stopped the treatments in Milman center.

Ofir
I was born a few months ago - on December 2001. Me and my parents hope that my development will be normal.....
As for today, Ofir is developing well - he is crawling and standing with help while trying to walk a few steps. Ofir also talks a lot Jibrish and he is looking on Omer in admiration.
On October 2002 Ofir staerted to visit the kindergarten in Tuval.
