"I still feel like a teenager in some ways, but there is sometihin' about being 18.  You feel like you're more of an adult."  Correct me if i'm wrong, but she's 18, right???  EighTEEN-teen being the key word, if you didn't notice, so why doesn't she feel like a teenager?!?!?  It doesn't make sence to me.
 

    Britney has a few surprises for her mom.  "There have been a few defiant acts.  The first was getting her navel pierced...The second was a tattoo.
    "The small black-winged fairy peeking up from the rear waistband of Spears' black thong THONG?!?!?!?!?  You are a role model for CHILDREN!  What are you doing in a black thong?!?! "made her feel like a little rebel," says Felecia Culotta, her travelingcompanion and chaperone for the past three years.....And, yes, it hurt.  "Her mother doesn't know yet," She does now.  After all, it was printed in a national magazine.  If I were her mother, I'd beat her for not telling me herself!  Culotta says, grimacing.
 
 

"Parents and teenagers don't have the same quality time they used to.  I think it's important to have a routine with your child.  Have dinner together.  Sometimes parents come home tired.  [The kids will] go to McDonald's.  They will do their homework and not even say hello." Bitter? Sounds like she has had experience in this area.  So now she's talking about how important it is to have a good relationship with your parents?  Riiight, because you tell your mom everything as soon as it happens, like the tattoo?
 

  When asked about posing for Playboy, which she can now do legally, Britney said this: "Oh, God, never!" This is going to come back to haunt her, just like the belly ring thing did!!
 
 

    "People assume I'm some puppet and people tell me what to do all the time," Yeah..."When I first got signed to a record label , I was 15.  So I did have some help at first.  You don't know what you're doing.  But now, with experience and as time goes on, I know what I need." Exactly how much experience has she had?  Pretty much a year when this article was written?!?
 
 

  "Some people go too far. I guess it's because of insecurities.  ...But if I do a video, of course, I'm gonna wear something I feel comfortable in, confident in."  Like nothing but the feathers in your hair?
 
 

  "I've had many times when I've gone out and partied. ANd??? I know what's it's like.  So does everyone over the age of 3!  Who hasn't been to a party or two by the time they're 13, much less 18!  I don't want to do it again.  Poor Britney, did that mean old clown scare you?  Kids doing drugs every weekend.  It's because they're lacking something in their life-maybe the feeling of being loved.  Really, and how is it that you know this?
 
 

    This is my personal favorite because I feel like she's talking to me!!   "...the "I hate Britney" Web sites-that's me, the nasty rumors and negative stories.  Spears says the first thing she does after reading something bad about herself is pick up the phone and call her mother.  "I'll call her up, crying.  I'll be devestated and she will help me deal.  It's so weird.  Weird that your mom helps you with your problems?  That's kind of one of their responsibilities. Every week, there's something in the tabloids.  She's helped me say, "OK, whatever"...  THere are days I get down.  Hormones, totally.  I'll get into the tub and have a bubble bath and just cry.  I'll think,"What's wrong?-do you want me to make a list?  I should be so happy."-that is why you got "enlarged" right?  "...After I have my little cry, I feel better." OK, let me get this straight.  So whenever there is a problem you, first, cry to your mommy, and second, cry to your bathtub.  Alrighty then, if you say so.  My dream is to have her see my website and have to make a quick little trip to the tub for a "little cry."
 

  This is her message to insecure teens. "Don't pay attention to what you read or see on tv.  Just go withwhat you feel inside.  Pay attention to you .  You're finding out who you are."  Take your own advice, Britney!  This is another bad habbit she has, she is totally hypocritical, again.
 

    Since you know her message to insecure teens, I'd like to share her statements about her own insecurities.  " "I wish I were taller," she says, "I wish my hair was thicker."( She usually wears hair extentions.)"  So I'm NOT the only one who noticed!
 

    This is the section about her boyfriend.  I thought it might interest some of you.  Although it isn't a direct quote, but it's still kind of funny.  " If anything is missing, it's a boyfriend.  Her name has been linked with that of 'N Sync's Justin Timberlake (indeed, they recently had a dinner date in Los Angeles), and she has been corresponding with Britain's Prince William ("I gavehim a picture and signed it").  She'd like to hook up with someone in show buisness.  "I think it would help alot.  Of course, if I met somebody at McDonald's What's with her and McDonald's?!?!?! This is the second time in one interview she has mentioned it! and I fell in love with him, I'd have to go wiht him, I'd have to go with my heart.  But it would helpbeing in the same industry, becauseyou know what that person is going through, scheduling-wise.  Somebody else might not realize I'm really, really busy all day long."
    "She has a wicked Wicked because it would be torture for anyone to have her like them, or is it an english expression she picked up from Prince Willie?crush on Ben Affleck.  The two had arranged a dinner, and the actor surprised her in her trailor before the Billboard Music Awards.  "He is so real," she says, eyes widening.  "And so warm."  Sounds like they've been diong more than going on a dinner date!
    "On the table is a movie magazine with-you guessed it- a grinning Ben Affleck posing seductively on the glossy cover.  Spears sighs and flips through, looking for more pictures.  Sudenly she looks youngher than 18.  "Ya'll, what time does Fred Segal close?" she yells.
    "...She picks up the magazine again and gazes at Affleck's chiseled face.
    "My dream is to make a movie," she says,"and have a love scene with Ben Affleck."  I wonder how the parents of the little girls who idolize Brit would feel about this.  Well, my little sister is one of those people, my parents didn't encourage it.  My grandmother didn't see anything wrong with Cindy's obsession until she saw this article and looked at some pictures I had.
 

    This is to Britney Spears from Debbie Gibson.  "I hope seh doesn't rush her personal growth process in terms of portraying an image that is very sexual.  I refused to.  She made a comment in Us magazine that she didn't want to be another me in terms of image, insinuating that a sexier image lasts longer and a more innocent one does not.  I hope she realizes that's not really where the focus is at all.  To each his own.  At the end of the day, if you work on your craft, you will endure.  There are very few people who can stay hot on the charts decade after decade."  This pretty mush sums it up.
