These pages are dedicated to my Mother "Martha Jo (Spangler) Landers"
and my "Grandmother Ora Elizabeth (Gamble) Spangler." I remember
as a little girl riding around down in Red River County, Texas with my
mother and grandmother. They would tell me stories about the years
past. They would show me where they had lived and tell me all about
how far they use to have to walk to school and to town. We really
had some good times. My grandmother would tell me about her aunts,
uncles, brothers and sisters. I would have pen and paper in hand
and I would start making notes. I had these notes but never knew
what to do with them. The notes would get misplaced and we would
go riding again and I would take more notes. Finally, about nine
years ago my mother-in-law Joyce Fisher gave me a family group sheet.
I took it and made copies of it and ever since I have been trying to obtain
all the information I can on my family of GAMBLE/GAMBILL'S. I pray
that some of the information I have will be of help to others and I would
love to add any information or links to my Gamble Web Pages
