The TAking

She was older and wiser
That's what they said
She was witty and clever
Always looked straight ahead.

But what could they know
Of the hurt and the dread
That threatenend to kill her
Each night in her bed.

Sleep never came
His vision was clear
The darkness caused nothing
But memories and fear.

"I got you," he'd murmur
"I've had you and won."
He took her and left her
His fun, it was done.

He went and he left her
But never took flight
For his seed he had planted
When he raped her that night.
