The End of Eternity

If Life is to live
Death is dead to me

Why should I grasp the knowledge of mortality?
If in Life I live to be

Because I live a livelly Life,
There is no death in me,
There is only Life, blowing the breath I breathe,
And I stand here, almost inertly, to receive it.

My life is compassed by an impassible moment
There is neither past nor future,
For the past is forgotten and the future unknow
There is only this very moment I come to complete

If I live,
Life lives within me
If I die,
Life goes with me

Life to which a single moment alights,
Unsolved mixture of reality and fantasy
Who am I to conceive it?...though I seek and I seek...

As opposed to death, Life circumscribes living
I feel free within Life's prison(death)
So that my mind surpasses it

I will only forgive death
If death forgets me
I will only die
If eternity dies before me
