This was my very FIRST costume and I'm still amazed how well it turned out! It cost me nearly nothing because I found all the stuff I needed around the house! I stitched a brown collar and cuffs on a beige jacket of my Mom's. I already owned the skirt, blouse, sneakers and socks- I just had to buy and paint a teardrop-shaped bead and string it on a chain. Oh, and make a red bow.
The skirt doesn't fit me anymore- that's too bad. Maybe I'll make or buy one to resurrect this costume if I can wear it somewhere.
