Wow- do I LOVE Soujiro! He's my favorite character of all time, hands down. I like everything- his looks, his skill, his speed- but most of all the intrigue of his psychological state that makes him the particular psycho that he is. His starring episodes in Rurouni Kenshin were masterfully done, and his voice actor (Noriko Hidaka) did an incredible job. I'm even guilty of writing fanfics about him :P
Cosplaying the perpetually smiling assassin was a dream come true- nuff said. I only bought the katana once I was in Toronto- only days before the convention!- but it absolutely brought the costume together and I still treasure it to this day- even named it Kikuichimonji Norimune ("Kiku" for short.)
I think I would have been a dead ringer (albeit female) for him without my glasses, and a better haircut.
