I wanted to make a REALLY good costume. Not just any costume, but a dream costume, made completely from scratch, and a lot of time and energy. What can I say- I'm passionate (or crazy ^^)
I had to buy several metres of 6 different kinds of fabric. I used a bathrobe pattern again :P and completely invented the skirt. The tights and collar were bought from an online store. Sewing on random strips of fabric was the most fun! Part that cost the most?: the gloves. (??)
The dreads are "Tokyokalon" brand from a hairdresser's shop, attached to a hairnet and pinned onto my head- I was very pleased that lots of people thought it was my real hair!

This costume is fairly accurate (although I could never be as pretty as Toshiya). I wore it to school for Halloween and as expected, no one recognized me, but it felt great to look like Toshiya! I'm planning to get more dreads (maybe actually braided into my hair this time), boots with buckles and blue lipstick for a convention someday! My biggest regret is that I didn't have Toshiya's blue bangs! (by the way- does anyone know where I can find electric blue synthetic bangs???)
