Dot1Web, Inc.
(formerly Freedom Motorcycles Inc.)
Background:

Dot1Web, Inc. (DTWB), formerly Freedom Motorcycles Inc., operates the ".1web" network, which consists of a webwide ISP offering unlimited monthly Internet access for $6.95 or lower; Webwide Auctions, a real-time auction site with no listing fees or final sales fees; Accept Pay, a merchant bank that allows businesses to accept Visa and Mastercard; and Instant Web Advertising, a real-time advertising website for home-based, small or large businesses to advertise locally, regionally, or around the world instantly.

According to the company, .1web network, through its retail and Internet network of consumers and businesses, has localized the Internet. Localization allows home-based and small businesses to get the same exposure that large corporations get within the areas they service for a fraction of the cost. Businesses can advertise locally to consumers in any of the 75,000 cities in the U.S. instantly without the aid of advertising companies or sales people. Advertising campaigns can be started for as little as $1, the company reports.

DTWB says it offers the least expensive Internet access in the industry compared to major Internet service providers. At $6.25 per month when prepaid annually, it is also the only service that localizes the Internet. Users may also subscribe to this unlimited Internet access without any contract or commitment for $6.95 per month. Through localization, businesses can define their particular local and regional service areas and then run low cost, real-time advertisements throughout the company's entire network of affiliate sites.
