You're a true nature chick who loves the outdoors. Because you're always running from activity to activity, you have zero time for a full, fussy face of makeup. Instead, you want to be able to hop out of the shower, pull your hair into a ponytail, slap on some sunscreen, and go. Just make sure that your laid-back, all-things-natural attitude doesn't lead to you become lazy -even on-the-go girls need to glam themselves up sometimes

so it's spring break now. yay (sarcastically). eh, should be more excited about it, but i'm not. why? guess....i'm at work right now. yep, i'm working for a couple days over spring break. what a great way to spend it, huh? so anyways i'm looking forward to the lake trip on...wednesday i think? yeah i've never been to lake pleasant so it should be fun, especially the 'renting jet skis' part. hopefully they opened up the lake to jet skiing again cuz bobby was tellin me some guy drowned there a couple weeks back and they still haven't found the body. ~oi kinda morbid when you think about it. so yeah wear a life vest/preserver, whatever when you're out there i guess.

man work today has been kinda on and off. when i got here this morning i read a couple newspapers and then jus surfed the net for a while. then before lunch a co-worker gives me 2 boxes full of these small books and tells me to make a list of them in chronological order. i jus finished it now and it wasn't TOO bad.

work was crazy today, i was constantly busy till now, but i still have work waiting for me to finish. just a quick copying and mail deal. ugh they still suck though cuz our dept's copier is ghey. it has a mind of it's own. it'll switch off from normal to landscape copying whenever it feels like it. i feel like that indian guy in 'office space' with that fax machine. jus wanna take it out to an empty field and beat the hell out of it. so ne wayz i better go finish my work now if i want to leave at 4.

springboard tonight. that means i get to drive all the way out past glendale or whatever is out there. i wouldn't mind the drive if the scenery didn't suck so much. nothing but drab colored buildings, tons and tons of them, along with muo xi ge ren. they don't help much either. they seem to double the effect of the pasty brown looking buildings. it's a pretty sad sight.

02.28.02
today was a pretty wacky day. a lot of 'unusual' things happened today so it's been slightly strange and yeah. let's see....
# 1. i actually had work to do today and a lot of it too. and tomorrow i still have more waiting for me since i didn't finish it all today. crazy. yep, i'm writing this at home! OMG! i don't do that very often nowadays.
# 2. today at about 4.30, the office secretary asked me to drop something off at some place in downtown phx which is about 15 min away from the office. unfortunately it's the opposite direction from work and home. so she jus says that i can leave an hour early tomorrow to make up for this. pretty sweet except that it took me about 45 min to drive back becuz of traffic.
# 3. while in downtown phx, there were tons of one-way roads. at the time, i was completely oblivious of those signs. you can only think of what happened next. yep that's right. i started driving the wrong way, head-on into oncoming traffic. don't u love it? it's never dull w/ me driving. on the good side, i did pull over after i noticed (cars coming straight at me) that i was driving on the wrong side, then made a big u-turn.
# 4. on the way home from downtown, i was stuck in traffic as usual. i was driving, slowly, on the far left lane, the one just outside of the carpool lane. now i was pretty tempted to get into that lane, but knew better not to. from experiences in cali where there are big signs that say "$271 FINE" and seeing 2 cops pass by in the lane, i figured i'd better stay out of it. well a little bit later, i notice a green jetta with it's windows down. there was a dog sticking it's head out the window like you see on tv. well the guy (haKk gui) was starting to fall behind because his lane was a tad bit more stagnant than mine's. a couple minutes later i notice him zoom by me in the carpool lane! well you may say, "what's the big deal?" well he didn't have another PERSON in the car with him, but if you want to count his dog as another 'being' then i suppose it could work. yep, ppl are weird.

funny fob flash video#1 and funny fob flash video#2. great stuff. check out show good, that's where all this crazy stuff's from.

just got back from delivering something to a place on 28th and camelback. once i got there i waited by the front desk for about 15 min till someone came out and received the papers. well i left and remembered that some people were saying that they were gonna open up a todai in biltmore fashion square, center, whatever. so i went and checked it out. after giving myself a self-guided tour of the place i surmise that this is only a rumor because i failed to find a big sign that would say something along the lines of, "todai coming soon for all the poor, deprived asian people in phx." well according to an article on their website:

a book New Todai Location!
Todai's next grand opening is Phoenix, Arizona on March 1, 2002. Todai is looking for new employees and vendors. Please contact johnny@todai.com for job opportunities, and sang@todai.com for business opportunities with Todai

however, they have not stated where the phx location is and march 1st is this friday. since i haven't heard much news on it from any other credible news sources (tv, radio, newspaper) then i can only assume that the grand opening date has been pushed back and they're still working on all the little details. jeez i hope they hurry it up. i can't wait to go back again, but this time no eating contest.

while we're on the topic of todai, i figured that i should put up the links to 2 of their commercials. they're kinda fobby, but that's okay. that just makes it better. commercial #1 and commercial #2.

half-day today. so basically skool for 2 hours from 8.30 to 10.30. wow crazy, huh?

hehe yesterday on my way to work, i noticed some pretty funny 'road rage' on the freeway. i was driving north on the price 101 freeway, getting onto the loop 202 when i notice this ghetto ford truck puttin along at a mediocre pace. off to it's right was a lexus gs...300? well ne wayz the lexus was trying to get into the ford's lane, but couldn't cuz it wasn't going fast enough. it tried getting in a couple times, but to no avail. finally it speeds up and cuts off the ford. as he zooms off i see the driver's hand raise up and give the lexus driver the finger. haha it was great! i got the entire rear-view perspective of this all so it worked out quite well. later on, i pass by the ford and notice, lo and behold, a haKk gui is driving the truck. pretty funny. then on the way home i see another old guy driving a yellow is300. that's the second time i've seen that. obviously, these two things (the driver and car) really contrast each other. not only is he driving a 'younger drivers' car, but of all colors, it's yellow. so bright. another sign of youth. so i can only suppose that the driver is going through some sort of mid-life crisis. problem is that he seemed a little past 'mid-life.' it was more like 'three-quarter life.' my goodness, people these days.

02.26.02
so far today at work has been pretty anti-exciting. the worst part is pulling a bunch of files from the archives. that place is stuffy and the papers & boxes smell old. on top of that, the dust from all that makes my nose runny. there's no sunlight, no ventilation, and jus plain no fun! i've only gotten through about 10 or so files at most. now only 30+ more. oh joy! the archives is most definitely not my favorite place in srp. the cafeteria is. the food there is pretty good and not too expensive either. sadly, i only eat there when i work full days and those full 8 hour days are pretty rare, but with spring break coming up i'll probably work those long-haul days. get here at 8 in the morning and leave at 4.30. ai yah being stuck indoors in some stuffy office all day is not my ideal way to spend spring break, but it "brings home the bacon" i suppose.

today i woke up at 8.15, but didn't go jogging cuz i jus didn't feel like it. i hate myself for that. i had the chance to get in some decent jogging time, but ended up not. *shame shame* so yes got to skool n did the typical go-to-class routine. not a whole lot went down today.

02.25.02

a touching flash movie called "an interview with God"

i was surprised at the amount of work i had to do today. a big stack of newspapers, fax, and a huge folder of stuff to copy. it's been a while since i've had this much work. then when i finished all that i did hw and now it's about 4.55 which is kinda strange cuz i didn't do a whole lot of net surfing today. tomorrow i already have a decent amount of work to do already. i have to look for and pull about 40 different files from the archives on top of the daily newspaper work. so i guess i'm not feeling so useless around here after all.

tomorrow at skool the sophomores are taking the AIMS test during 1st period. therefore, the skool has extended the length of 1st period to 2 hours which means that i don't have to be at skool till 9.51. alright now i have more time to run in the morning so hopefully i can get about a half hour in, get ready for skool, and be on time for class.

found a great site for car stuff. it's got tons of reviews on parts and what not. car review

this one goes out to bwee2, one hardcore haKk gui. check it out

i had a pretty good day yesterday. it was a pretty easygoing, laid-back day. i spent most of the afternoon chilling at home n stuff then my dad got back and we started replacing the timing, a/c, power steering belt in the corolla. brian comes over, but then leaves to go pick up bobby. they got back to my house and jus chilled inside while i helped my dad with the car. after i finish up with the car we head over to fry's electronics to pick up some blank cd's. hehe in the parking lot brian kinda parked too close to a car on his left and when bobby and him opened their doors, they kinda dinged it....in a loud manner too. well we start walking away and it turns out the owner of the car was in the car when they did that and she walks out and yells at them for it. hehe no biggie though she was small and there were 3 of us ne wayz. well they get their cd's and we head to asu's mu to play some pool. brian devised some sort of game where we each take 5 balls and make sure not to hit ours in while hitting in everyone else's ball. bobby kept knocking the balls off the table! omg he must've done it like....a buncha times! so we play for about an hour and then go to try cafe boba on mill ave. well cafe boba was a complete let down for obvious reasons...*cough cough*ownedbybairen*cough* so we have surmised that e-ba is one of the few places that meet's our standards. the other actually is 'juice factory' which isn't that bad. so parking took forever cuz it's BAD in downtown tempe during the busier times of the week. we went from some bar to jack in the box and finally to a city parking garage. at jack in the box we saw someone's car get towed cuz they were parking illegally. it was funny. wandered around mill and we saw this guy juggling stuff and balancing spinning dishes on sticks. he had this sign near his 'hat that collects money' that said "dot com fallout victim" so i was like, "hmmm...i kinda feel bad for him" so i threw in some random change in his hat. hehe then this other homeless person asks me for change to, in their own words, "get drunk." so i was like, "uhhhhh....." and walked away. haha funny ppl on mill ave. so we went back to the car and left the parking garage. we get to the toll booth and our ticket was validated so we were about ready to pay when the hei ren working at the booth says, "you didn't see me here so go ahead and drive right through that gate over there" and we were jus kinda like, "oooookkkkkayyyyyy" cuz there was no gate. so we just drove away and tried not to provoke him. we go to e-ba and think we see calvin's car outside so we go in to check, but it turns out it's a bmw that looks jus like his. it was a 3.28ci though, not a 3.30ci. then there was this table full of canto doods all playing poker/blackjack and talking REALLY loud, but it's okay cuz canto ppl do that. so brian felt kinda awkward for jus walking in there w/o buying ne thing so we get a small drink. unfortunately they didn't have ne more boba so they put some sorta jelly in it. ai yah too sweet and the drink was powdery. oh well it wasn't too bad. then we jus headed back to my house and chilled for a bit and THAT was my saturday! pretty exciting huh? yeah i bet u don't care.

for all of you who constantly go to applebee's, i give you:

song of the moment: the ataris - "between you and me" or "broken promise ring"
either song pretty much is a good, almost 'word for word' representation of my weird dream. how strange.

02.23.02
i've been home all day so far. i don't know whether that's really a good thing or not. i watched some saturday morning cartoons. then i finished my chores cuz my parents are pretty adamant on me doing them especially since my mom lectured me on monday (see 02.19.02 for explanation). so yeah finished chores and then ate lunch while watching "shanghai grand" some vcd my dad bought when we were visiting the bay area last summer. it was an alright movie, but pretty much everyone dies or gets screwed over somehow in the movie. well ne wayz i'm goin to the mall now.

YES! i am toast! i win!

yeah i didn't do a whole bunch today. it's actually after 5 right now and i'm still at work. jus had to finish up some newspaper work as usual. so today has been a pretty uneventful day so to speak. last night i didn't get to bed till 1 cuz i was jus randomly chatting on aim. remember, u may say ur only going on for a couple minutes, but it usually ends up being a couple hours. so yes the lights are all turned out, but at least the safety/emergency lights are on so i can't see a whole lot right now. yeah i got this month's issue of 'super street' yesterday and it's pretty awesome. they got a turbocharge 00'+ celica gt. it's reallyyyyyy nice. that is definitely something i would do if i had a celica. man and my friend wes was tellin me about his friend raymond. the guys dad is co-signing on a loan with him so he can buy a supra! OMG! lucky guy! well he knows the guys who are working on that supra now so he's gonna buy it from them. originally, it had a turbo that was not 'street-legal' in arizona so they had to change it out and then register the car. after he registered it they put the old turbo back it! haha! great! stupid laws. ne wayz maybe i can get a chance to check it out sometime. well there is some import car show coming through phx on october 12-13 from what i've read and it's gonna be at firebird raceway. by that time, hopefully, the weather will have cooled down a bit. although i doubt it would be over 100, it'd still be pretty close and that means hot hot hot! so yeah no fasting for me this weekend. i can't go a couple of hours w/o food. well i didn't plan on doing ne strenuous exercise this weekend, but still it was such short notice that i don't think i was 'mentally' prepared. i guess i better get going now. it's 5.15 now and that's the latest i've ever stayed past 5. don't wanna set a new record.

song of the moment: rufio - "just a memory"
listened to the rufio cd "perhaps i suppose" on the way to skool today and i heard this song. i guess it kinda got me thinkin n stuff. good song though.

02.21.02
so it's 3.31 right now and i'm at work again. it seems like work is the only place i can really got online and write stuff down in this. hopefully no one catches me cuz i remember one time i was playing that nitto racing game and a co-worker walks in to give me something to fax, copy, whatever something for him and i was in the middle of a race too! jeez i felt kinda bad afterwards cuz i was kinda like, "uhhhhh.....yeahh......ohhhh....okayyyyy." not giving him a whole lot of attention and leaving my focus in the game. hehe. oh well. so earlier another co-worker of mine's comes in and gives me a new 'project' to do. YAY! it's been so long. the past couple weeks i've been on the internet a decent amount each day, as you can tell. so now i'm supposed to go to the archives and pull a bunch of files from it. the deadline is the end of next week which gives me a couple days to get to it. i figure i'll finish the weak off 'anti-strong' and get to the 'project' next week. wow i am great at planning things out heh more like procrastinating till the last second.

last night i finally went to gungfu again. worked out afterwards for about an hour and now my chest, biceps, and abs are all sore. which reminds me i ran out of protein powder and need to get some more cuz all i've been eating in place of it is protein bars which are pretty...not as good. then this morning i went running and got a chance to try out my new running shoes. unfortunately, they are a tad too big and feel like they're gonna fall off the entire time. the heel area keeps sagging in which is probably due to the not-so-sturdy fabric used on the back of the shoe. i mean it's very comfortable, but it's like jogging in your slippers. so i guess i'm gonna return/exchange them this weekend for a smaller pair or maybe even a different shoe altogether.

what's the deal with everyone bustin out the old baby pics n stuff? i'm just trying to figure out who started the trend. i mean charlie, howard, lee lynn, and fun2 all got some sort of pics from the younger days on their sites. well all this nostalgia has got me thinking whether or not i should do the same. see i could..., but my scanner is pretty ghetto or maybe it's my computer that's too slow. eh i dunno, but either way scanning pics at home is no fun. it can be described as a test in patience.

today i learned that if you can't open the banana from one side, try the other.

dang i have hw to do. i haven't done hw at work for a while. i got a worksheet on the 2nd act of hamlet and another worksheet on a whole lotta lame crap from business internship. i'm beginning to think that my teacher doesn't like me. i mean i do good, work wise, but other than that i could really care less for the class. see the thing is that the class isn't always 'learning' things from a book and doing worksheets and other things like that. rather on top of that, we hold fundraisers, do charity, and good stuff like that. the problem here is that i could care for the latter half of the class. during the candy sales i didn't approach ppl to ask them to buy candy, others came to me. i put forth no effort in attracting customers. also, the rose sale i did absolutely nothing for in terms of selling the roses. i made them, but i'm pretty sure i was forced to. however, selling them was a different story. she gave us a packet of stuff like order forms and a sample of what the rose looks like and told us to sell them. well that packet stayed in my backpack until she asked me why i didn't turn in the order forms from it. you wanna know why? cuz i didn't sell a single one! whoa, like i didn't see that one coming! she also gave us the opportunity to sell them at lunch at a booth near the cafeteria. all the girls signed up for it, some even doing it on multiple days. as for us guys (all 4 in the class) we laid back and let them take care of all the work. after a while the girls started chastising us for not selling at lunch, but we didn't give a hoot. they could blow all the hot-air they wanted. well ne wayz in the end, i think that on top of the lack of interest in certain class activities, i'm late for class almost everyday. now that i realize it, i'm late for all my class AND work everyday. well then i guess that age-old saying that chinese ppl are always late is true.

lately since i got a car kit/adapter thing for my cd player i've been listening to a lot of my cd's again. that means a whole lot of punk n stuff. yeah i mean you can only listen to a drunken tiger/lmf cd so many times before it starts getting pretty freakin annoying. yep i remember a lot of those cd's and when i used to be really into it i guess. my early high skool career up until the end of last year consisted of non-stop 3 chord angry/weird ppl. now that i get a chance to listen to them again, i wonder why so many of these bands are out there. they're kinda starting to all sound alike. i mean i can catch the differences from band to band, but they seem awful minute. oh well at least what i have right now is catchy and fun to listen to. also, when i talk to all the punk kids i've known for a while, a lot of them have been changing tastes or not going to shows that much anymore. there still are some that are pretty hardcore and they dress even more...colorful, but the majority seems to be more focused on other things in life now. i guess that whole 'punk rock' thing was just another phase that kids go through. the whole 'anti-corporate, trendy, everything' atitude, the go to shows every weekend, and the poor style of dress and hygiene are parts of it i don't think i could ever go back to again. i mean it's good that kids enjoy it, but sometimes these kids take it too far and get all into the 'elite' state of mind and begin saying that "everything else sux and punk rules all" or something like that. their thinking begins to get very close minded. they see anyone who is not like them a 'trendy, sellout, corporate zombie, whatever' and the entire time they're preaching diversity and tolerance. they claim to be 'open-minded' but are bashing everything from designer clothes to mtv. i can understand where they're coming from, but this animosity towards everything seems to contradict their philosophy of tolerance. i can remember an instance when one of my punk friends decides that he just doesn't wanna dress the way that he did at the time. he started wearing abercrombie or something and all my other friends like started hating him for no good reason other than the fact that he dressed differently. now if i don't see the hypocrisy in that, do you? seriously. then another one gets new shoes that aren't of the 'skater' persuasion. my other friends give some pretty rude comments toward him for his choice of footwear. i mean the way of dress is a pretty bad way for disliking someone. i remember a time when i was like this as well. anyone that wore 'such and such' was a 'trendy, blah blah blah.' ~oi so now i realize the problems within this 'sub-culture' known as punk rock and i guess that can attribute to my distancing towards it. it's not that i don't listen to the music or abhor the ppl, it's just certain things about it i'd rather not be connected to. and one more thing, the way some of these ppl dress....omg so dirty! i can understand if u lack the funds to dress decently, but man, some of these ppl with the patches everywhere, torn clothing, homemade-just-about-everything-else type of clothing. they're definitely attention getters wherever they go, but i'm not sure whether it's really any sort of good attention. i know kids who come from some pretty well-off families and yet they completely contrast the way any decent person of the middle-upper class would dress. they're rich kids who dress like they're poor basically. i really don't get it. it's not that they need to be decked out in jcrew, banana, or ne thing, but they should at least dress in a manner that does not bring so much attention to themselves (which is why i think they dress that way). basically what i'm saying is that they have the means to look pretty normal, but still turn their backs on it. the only reason that i can think of is that some do it as an act of of rebellion towards their family or background. they detest their rich upbringing and vow to never be like them. it sort of reminds me of the story of buddha. he was an indian prince (yes buddha was indian, not chinese)who lived in luxury and wealth most of his life, but when he saw his ppl in poverty and starvation he turned his back on his royal status and went around helping ppl and pondering the questions about the origins of man and how he can be a better person, etc. so basically, these kids are no buddha because #1 they didn't break away from their family to help the poor, #2 their thoughts, philosophy, and teachings did not give birth to a world religion. not to say that they're all worthless, but rather the chances of that happening are pretty dang slim. yeah so i think i rambled on long enough about this. sorry if it doesn't make sense.

song of the moment: rufio - "above me"

02.20.02
so i've been at work for about an hour and a half and it's felt like forever. i cleaned up a lot of junk in my cubicle. a lot of that stuff was leftover from the previous interns. the only reason i'm doing this is becuz i think my teacher for business internship is coming sometime soon to check up on me, but i'm not sure when she's coming. well at least my cubicle will look clean. then read 2 newspapers. they were basically the same paper except they have different names and go to a different part of the state. pretty dumb, but it's just the typical stuff i deal with at work. well speaking of my cubicle, those cans of food are still on my desk. seriously, i don't know where they came from and that's really freakin weird.

you know what car would be cool to drive? a 91-95 mr2 turbo coupe. that'd be pretty neat. yep. yes it would be. okay that was pretty random.

2 more years and the car isn't mine ne more....2 more years and the car isn't mine ne more....2 more years and the car isn't mine ne more....

hehe my boss just said, "w'sup, man?! w'sup?! see ya gotta learn to talk highskool." hehehe. omg now him and another guy are saying it to each other. hehehe. oh man this is funny.

i'm hungry now and my banana is not opening. stupid del monte banana from ecuador. YAY! it's open after i clawed at it with my fingernails. well i kinda mushed the top of it up, but it still tastes good.

tonight i'm finally going to gungfu this week, but it will be the only time i can get in again. hopefully next week won't be as bad since i won't be busy monday or wednesday. yesterday however, i thought i had my discipleship thing, but turns out it's every other week so i could've gone last night, but ended up missing it. oh well at least i got running shoes finally. nice and comfy and really light too. nike presto's are pretty neat-o.

ai yah my boss is doing it again! JEEZ! and he got more guys doing it now! omg my department is turning 'hei ren' on me.

~oi someone keeps running around the office. you don't run in an office! it's supposed to be QUIET! man some people...

I am a celebrity, a natural born leader, and a mascot. When old people think of video games, they oftentimes get a mental image of me. Countless times I've been called into battle to save Peach from various baddies, even back in the days of Atari, and I have never faltered. Others may be jealous, but who cares? I'm Mario!

What Super Mario Bros character are you?

yay! mario! he's so cool! i luv the old nes games!

ai yah yesterday was not so great. i went to charlie's and watched those vcds and that was cool, but while i was there my mom calls me and says she's, "very angry at me." i was like, "what the hell?! jeez what'd i do now?" well, according to her, it was a number of things. the past weekend i was out constantly, i didn't do some chores, and while i was at charlie's my sister called from my cell and said she didn't have to keys to get into the house so i just told her to leave me alone. jeez. then she called me out after dinner and just started lecturing me for half an hour! it was ghey. she thought the root of the problem was that i spend too much time on the internet and not listening to her so she's gonna get rid of the cable modem and possibly aol, but it's not like i use aol a whole lot ne wayz. as for the cable modem, eh not a BIG loss cuz i still can get on the internet at work, but since it'll go back to 56k then d/l speeds are way slower and i can get booted off the internet when ppl call. hmmmm another reason to not be home more often? maybe....oh well, i guess i'll just have to deal with it for now.

i won't be able to drive the corolla for a little while cuz my dad's still tinkering with it. he wants to work out all the little problems before he hands it over to me. apparently something is wrong with the 2nd cylinder due to the extremely blackened spark plug that we changed out last night. when we pulled it out it was kinda smoking. definitely not a good sign. you know the 2 biggest things about this car that bug me are the bottom-of-the-line engine (1.6L 106hp 105lb/tq) and 3-speed automatic. other than that i could have lived with the not so great looking piece of plastic-trim on the rear of the car. well lately since i have a corolla now i've been looking into a bunch of corolla sites. i'm pretty surprised that there are this many out there. well 2 pretty good ones are c-three racing and corolla customz. take a look, i bet you'd be pretty surprised to find such a vast amount of stuff for the corolla.

it's amazing how much gungfu i've been missing lately. last week i went once on wednesday and that was it. monday we got back from cali, tuesday disicipleship, and thursday true love waits. ai yah. i've really been slacking lately. unfortunately i don't think this schedule will let up until late march or april so i figure i better go running more in the mornings. jeez and i was trying to get into better shape by spring break. dang. well i went running this morning and came back feeling like crap as usual, but at least i had that sense of accomplishment that goes along with it. now all i need to do is get some running shoes and be more consistent with waking up at about 7.15 to go running.

man this weekend was good yet bad at the same time. it was really weird and i hate that awkward feeling. friday was a good day though. i got a cd car adapter kit thing so now i don't have to listen to radio disney all the time. ugh that radio station gets sooooo old fast. they play the same things over and over again. it's pretty sad. then after work i went to the nile to see RUFIO!!! that was a great show. even though it was in the basement and it was dirty with disturbing graffiti on the wall the bands rocked! but the nile...haven't been to a show there for 9 months or 39 weeks or 273 days....ne wayz i went to applebee's after the show got out at about 11. met up with bobby, calvin, kohei, joey, jeff, and nathan. everyone, but bobby, calvin, and me left so we just hung out outside and talked for a while until my dad called and bitched at me for being out late. then saturday morning we went out to see a car my parents were looking into out in signal buttes. that's inbetween gilbert and apache junction. it's sooooo freakin ghetto, boonies out there. definitely not a place i want to live. so it's a bottom-of-the-line pos 94 toyota corolla. now it wouldn't have been so bad had it been a dx or whatever, but this pos is a 3-speed automatic! i didn't even know there was such a thing! sooooo ghey! i might as well drive a civic dx! at least i can do more to it in terms of the aftermarket than a corolla! ai yah. but i guess it's better than walking however i see nothing, but disappointment in this car. thank God i only have to drive it till my sister starts driving which is in about a year and a half so by then hopefully i can get something decent that i won't hate with all my inner being. my mom even admitted that she KNEW that i was disappointed and for some reason my parents still went forward and bought it. for 5500 there were better options out there ne wayz and i get stuck with....it. i hate the way my parents think. well after they figured it all out they went to a nearby bank to finish up the dealings while they asked me to drive home in the van. bad idea. i drove about 65 on shitty local roads until i hit the freeway and then bumped up the speed to about 95 cutting thru cars left and right. luckily, i made it home w/o a hitch. later however was a different story. as i was on my way to golfland i was on the 101 (price) freeway and i was driving like i normally do. i guess i just happened to miss a cop hiding out under an overpass. well i was trying to pass some lady and he pulled me over and said that i was going 86! i was like wtf?! i wasn't going 86 when he pulled me over when i was tailgating this slow lady. she was like going 75 at most so that means i couldn't being going faster than that if i were following her. dammit so now that's my 2nd ticket and my insurance is going up. fuck the police, dammit. they have just lost my admiration and respect. i mean sure i was speeding, but it's not like i get into accidents or ne thing. u may say, "oh well speeding is just another thing that leads to accidents." in that case u r an anal driver who doesn't know shit. maybe for u that might be true cuz ur so damn paranoid. i mean i drive like this EVERYDAY to work and have no problems so who're u to say that it'll 'cause an accident.' then the cop tried giving me some bullshit talk bout 'driving is a privilege not a right.' righttttt.....asshole. first he pulls me over and gives me a ticket which is bad enough, but then he has the balls to give me shit about it. fucking bastard. well i get to golfland and chill there with brian for a while and then head over to phimus' to play some ssb2. i left phi's around 4 and went home to pick some clothes up and went to help out with the banquet at church. everything went by okay and they made brian, mark, nathan, and me do the can-can while doo2 and howard played 'be our guest.' eh yeah. when the banquet ended, charlie, calvin, bobby, and me went to e-ba. the boba was decent, but lacked variety. so when we finished up there, we headed out to mill ave. calvin saw some rice rocket motorcycles and had to look at them, but we parked in a parking lot next to tempe town lake and had to walk 15 min to get back to where we saw the motorcycles. well again my parents called right when we got to mill ave and asked where i was and told me to get home. ai yah they were realllyyyyy starting to piss me off. so basically after that i go home. sunday went to church, ditched sunday skool to go workout, but wasn't allowed in the gym cuz i wasn't 18. then brian, bwee2, and me went to in-n-out and i got a 4x4. my first one, but it was pretty freakin good. i wasn't even that hungry, but man brian....5x5....so crazy almost as crazy as his driving. well we went back to church and picked up david tai, jack, phi, and bobby and went to the chinese week thing at 99 ranch. freakin 2 bux for parking! ne wayz we hung out there for a while and ate some over-priced whitewash chinese food. then we went to the vcd store and checked out all the vcds. i ended up buying "the young and the dangerous" 1 and 2. 20% OFF! heck yeah! forget going to cali for 'red hot deals' the party is right here in az! so we buy that and go back to church to drop some of them off b4 chinese skool is over. then went to the mall to pick some stuff up and then off to erin's house for her b-day party thingy. i ended up not leaving till 9.30 and missing david's going away party. i feel bad for that. dang. hopefully we can hang today. so yeah after the party i dropped lynn off at coffee plantation so charlie could take her back to his house. freakin my parents called at 9.30 and bug me to get home again. freakin ghey as hell. well today i'm basically goin to charlie's and watchin those vcds i bought. hopefully he doesn't mind.

I am 21-40% Ghetto

I WISH I was ghetto. I need to take them gold plated teeth and get some REAL gold teeth..

i've noticed a trend in my entries. i have one almost everyday. i'm starting to wonder whether that really is a good thing? eh well i figure i have nothing else better to do w/ my time at work so i might as well write a couple thoughts down. today was a half-day at skool with a 2nd period assembly. i woke up at 8 and did my usual morning routine. what kinda sux though is that our water heater broke so taking a shower this morning was very....refreshing. i finished up some hw and left the house around 9.05. got to skool about 20 min late for 2nd period and missed the assembly altogether. i hear that when the students were given a chance to voice their opinions that one girl stood up and started complaining about the overzealous use of the word "gay" or "fag." one of my friends mentioned that he was pretty tempted to shout,"hey sit down and shut up, fag!" hehe yeah that would've been pretty...."politically incorrect" so to speak, but i kinda chuckled at the thought of this being said during a diversity assembly ^_^ only because of the contrast between the two points of view of course. so basically i got to 2nd period in the middle of a quiz and my teacher offered to let me take it tomorrow, which was really nice of her. then she showed me how to do some of the work that i had missed over the past couple days. so after that all the remaining periods of the day were only 10 min long. 3rd period went by pretty fast. we listened to announcements or should i say, talked through the announcements. other than that, we didn't do a whole lot 3rd period. moving onto 4th period is pretty much the same thing. i get to class and it's the usual chaos before everyone settles down. we have kids from other classes running back and forth thru our class and everyone is basically outta their seat and talking. i, as well, did not accomplish much other than talking to a couple people. so the bell rings and i go home at about 10.30. so concludes my sooper-dooper day of skool.

i finally got this nitto racing game to work. man it's so tight! as of now i have a civic si and a celica gts which still need some work. best 1/4 times are 14.6 - civic si and 14.8 - celica gts. it's a pretty fun game and i was pretty shocked to find out that my civic could beat my celica. the hp difference is about 20+ in favor of the celica, but the civic's got more mods on it. see the easy way to get money in the game is to get a mustang and sell it. then buy a civic and soup it up with the extra money. well ne wayz go to nitto racing to check it out.

ah tomorrow, it's that day again. how lovely. unfortunately, to me, this 'holiday' is nothing more than a clever marketing tool used by the card, candy, flower, gift, etc industry to con people into buying more of their lame stuff. not only that, this 'holiday' is marketed towards ppl w/ a 'significant other' or 'children.' so for people like me, i am pretty much left out in the general hoop-la of it all. i remember as a child in elementary skool how i looked forward to this day because of the card exchanges and candy. however, now that i am older, i find these 'trinkets' hardly amusing at best. so you must be wondering, "why is dexter such a valentine's day scrooge?" basically what i'm trying to get at is that this is society's way of spitting in my face or rubbing salt on an open wound. thank u for reinforcing the fact that i have no one. i appreciate it, really i do. the best part is that i get to be involved in a skool activity promoting this garbage. that's right, candy roses are being made and delivered by my business internship. so tomorrow during 3rd period, i get to go from class to class handing people the fruits of my communist slave labor. enjoy and have a nice day....dammit

02.12.02
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! gung xi fa chai/gong hei fat choy, xing nian kuai le, okay that's enough....

man that cox conversion stuff is really ghey. it took me 2 hours because the internet stopped working for about an hour so i called up the help line and talked to 3 different ppl for a total of 1 hour! basically i didn't get to sleep till about 12 last night because of it. well i think it's finally working, although i don't notice much of a difference besides a couple new shortcuts on my desktop and a new homepage for IE.

woke up late today so i didn't get a chance to go jogging so i guess i'll try to go after i get off work. i have a decent amount of hw to catch up on, but nothing to horrible. right now i'm trying to get the nitto racing game to work. it looks really sweet, but as of now the log-in process is taking forever. well it's being real gay so i just closed it. so ne wayz today when i got into work, there was a whole stack of newspapers on my desk. i think that's the most newspapers i've ever read since i've been working here. then there were some new cans of canned food. i really have no clue whatsoever about where they came from. they just kinda showed up next to the mandarin oranges that had been sitting there for a while. other than that i'd say it was a pretty average work day.

so i'm back...this sux. i miss cali again. oh well i guess i just gotta make the best of it. i hope that doesn't involve physically harming people. that would be a bad thing ^_^ so yeah i ate a whole lot of greasy chinese food and that was bad for me, but it's been a while so that makes it okay. errr this is gay right now. no one's on aim, either they're away or just not on altogether. jeez and of all times i actually get on during a weekday. as i you have guessed, i am not going to gungfu tonight due solely to the fact that i just got back today and am too lazy to get up. i hate when this happens.

we left for cali at around 3 thursday afternoon cuz we thought we had to be there about 2-3 hours early for our flight at 6, but it turns out the security ISN'T as tight as the media makes it out to be. so we're at our gate by 4 or so and we have 2 hours left. luckily i found one of those shops that sells magazines n random stuff and read magazines for about an hour then spent the other hour reading a magazine i bought before we got to the airport. the plane took about 2 hours to get to oakland airport. it was cold and raining when we got there. a drastic change from the weather here in arizona that i was in only a couple hours ago. so my uncle came to pick us up from the airport and we went to my grandma's house. i stayed at one of my cousin's house while we were there. i noticed that there sure are a lot more 'ricers' out there. kinda good and kinda bad at the same time. it was the typical altezza lights civic/accord and the occasional unique car. so ne wayz, on friday i went to milpitas with my dad and some relatives in town from so cal. we went to the mccarthy ranch area and then to some random chinese places looking for vcd's. finally, we went and got boba from tapioca express, imo the best boba in that area. that night we had to get everything ready at the church cuz we didn't have enough time to take care of it in the morning. saturday was the actual anniversary thing itself. we got to church around 11 and the ceremony thing was at 12 or so. that was about an hour and a half long. then at one point, i got dragged up to the stage by my family cuz we were supposed to sing some song as a family, but they just let me know about it so i was completely clueless as to wtf was goin on. in these situations, lip-syncing works great. afterwards, there was a whole lotta greasy chinese food, as usual. saw a lot of old friends and relatives. boy it was a great day, it's just another reason why i wished i was back in cali. ne wayz after that everyone went their own way for a while and then met up at my grandparents house for dinner. sunday i went to my old church. it is pretty different now than compared to when i used to go there. then today our flight was at 8.25 so we had to be there at 6 or so! ai yah i woke up at 5. it was ghey. oh well i think i made up for it all throughout the day. so now i'm back and my family is nagging and bitching at me about everything. it's great to be home.

just some more neat links from hong2's profile. yatta, a goofy japanese full monty, and you're the man now dog, the most non-sensical website ever.

well i'm leaving for cali in about an hour and a half so i thought i'd just write down whatever's on my mind right now. at about 2 i gotta go pick up my sister from skool so that should give me time to stop by fry's to get some money from the atm and buy a magazine for the flight tonight. jeez it took me like 20 min to pack all my stuff up. i still wonder how girls manage to make it an all-day thing. it's crazy. i mean when you're going on vacation, no matter how long, you don't need a majority of your wardrobe. oh well that's just another mystery of the universe. maybe one day i'll figure it out. right now i would be at work, but i'm home just tying up some loose ends before we leave. it's nice not going to work in the afternoon, i haven't been home during a weekday afternoon in a little while. usually i'm in that stuffy office reading newspapers and doing other random office things to pass the time. i guess i can't really enjoy the beauty of what's going on outside until i get out of the office or maybe get a cubicle with a window or maybe even an office! that'd be great. great, great stuff it would be. "zoinks" as velma from scooby doo would say. so tonight there is a 'true love waits' thingy. obviously i won't be there. oh well i guess i can make it up or something. jeez and it had to be on the weekdays. man i'm busy on weekdays, i don't have much time for anything else anymore and it had to be on a weekday. ai yah it's almost 2 i better get goin. i'll see you all when i get back. hopefully i can get to a computer while i'm there and scribble down a little about what's going on there. okay then now ~byebye

neat-o links from hong2's profile. 3-D Pong and the poop machine. pretty funny stuff.

mike angeles' reasoning on why barney is evil:

PROOF THAT BARNEY IS EVIL
1) Start with the given:
CUTE PURPLE DINOSAUR
2) Change all U's to V's (which is proper Latin script anyway):
CVTE PVRPLE DINOSAVR
3) Extract all Roman Numerals:
C V V L D I V
4) Convert into Arabic values:
100 5 5 50 500 1 5
5) Add all the numbers:
666
Thus, Barney is Satan.

wow some ppl need a life outside of my website, especially the guestbook *ahem* i'm not even joking either. btw ur still ugly. supra ownz joo. besides i only put something on here when i got home cuz i saw a cool link in hong2's profile, something i can't look up at work. so there. go study like a good asian student now.

This quiz says absolutely nothing about your personality. Take it!

weirdness. that has to be the most random, pointless test ever.

today a majority of my afternoon was spent wandering around asianavenue and staring at the wide and wonderful online asian community they have. i must've joined like 10+ clubs on aa today cuz i was bored. i even updated my aa page! wow! then i saw ghetto ppl pages which are funny as hell cuz real thugs don't use the internet, in fact they don't know how to use computers altogether. so pretty much ne one calling themselves 'thugs' or 'gangstas' most likely aren't cuz real 'thugs' and 'gangstas' would be out stealing computers instead of using them to proclaim their hardcore-ness on asianavenue. so the moral of this story is, "don't drink and drive."

yesterday on the way to work i saw this 70 year old guy w/ a receeding hair line driving a BRIGHT yellow is300. it was funny and he was speeding like there was no tomorrow, which could be true for him cuz he looked so old. now what does this say about the is300? yep it's for old people and it has become the new 'it' car for the trendy, rich crowd. long gone is the ford mustang and 'big american' trucks or the abominable SUVs. this is the age of the funny little japanese sports sedan and THAT sports sedan is the is300.

skool today...hmmmm....2nd period more notes, 3rd period we took a test that took me completely by surprise. luckily i remember most of the material from previous business classes. 4th period i had a quiz on willaim shakespear's "hamlet" which consisted of 3 WHOLE QUESTIONS! that and we had a substitute teacher today so i felt it was in my best interest to leave class on a 'bathroom break' after the quiz. i wandered around 4th lunch talking to ppl and got back to class about 5 min before it was over. apparently the class took notes while i was gone. oh darn, i missed note taking. my world has gone straight to hell. but seriously, i just borrowed them from a friend and i'll copy them after i finish typing up all this stuff.

people need to stop bothering me about prom, i don't know when it is, where it is, or if i'm even going. dammit.

leaving for cali tomorrow. yay! okay time for hw. now this is what i call a productive use of time. byebye.

i went running again this morning. it wasn't as bad as the first time though. the first couple minutes were alright. i didn't feel so bad, but i guess i was just in the process of waking up. later on however, i started to feel it and again got home sweaty and tired. then i got ready for skool and left. skool today was pretty much like yesterday, 2nd period notes, 3rd period communism, 4th period sit there and not do a whole lot. i guess that extra sleep i get makes everything better.

a funny ninja website. totally unrealistic and not serious, but extremely funny. take a look.

haha i'm listening to the ramones right now. they sing funny, like goofy bastards or something. ne wayz it's really funny yet catchy at the same time. how great.

"You sometimes doubt yourself - who you are and what you can do. You're a curious person, with questions and concerns about the world. You go along with the crowd and aim to please others to your best ability. But when you finally discover what you're really capable of, you can do some serious ass kickin'! You're fast and furious, and you will always stick up for what you believe, and those who you care for. Not only that, but you're charming and charismatic, so you get along with people well, and others often look up to you."

wow...i don't know what to say. i mean i thought the matrix was a retarded movie and that keanu reeves sux, but in comparison i think that this is kinda cool. sweet.

hmmm sitting here just eating soy beans n stuff. not a lot of action at the office today. i read newspapers for about an hour and a half, fed ex'd something, then faxed some papers out. a pretty slow day. well actually my days here are all pretty much like this so i guess it's an average day now. exciting isn't it? at least i have a cubicle so that can't see me stare at the ceiling or spin around in my chair a whole lot. i wonder if they'd actually keep me around after the skool year is over?

lucky jr high kids get a day off today. that's weird, i think it's a 'teacher work day' or something. well ne wayz this weekend is a 4-day weekend for me. then the following wednesday is a half-day. the weekend after that is a 3-day weekend. then the last week of february we have an early release day on the 27th i think. wow february. so many weird things that affect the skool schedule. in march, obviously there's spring break and then a couple early release days or 2nd hour assemblies. however, april is pretty bone dry. i suppose that's the 'long-haul' before the skool year is over. so after that, graduation! yes!

skool was alright today. woke up at 7.30 and got ready. left the house at about 8.20, but skool actually starts at exactly 8.44 for me so i kinda left a little early. 2nd period was the typical math class. take notes on tonight's hw. 3rd period, my teacher yelled at us, but i think wes and me specifically today for talking during the announcements. we were also late for class and she made a snide little comment on that too. everyone nowadays is saying that she's gotten 'pretty bad' as compared to the beginning of the year. oh well doesn't matter. i'll put up w/ her crap for now. it's what got me a job and there's only a couple months left ne wayz. it's not like i'm learning ne thing really new in that class cuz the only 'learning' that goes on is straight out of the entrepreneurship book i used last year. now we jus make those horrid little candy roses for valentine's day. yep it's pretty gay, but at least it's not hard. just mind-numbing and repetitive. at the beginning of class she went around and asked each person how many roses we've sold individually. obviously, i have sold a big, fat zero. i'm not exactly 'down' with this fundraiser so i don't even bother selling them. if i'm making them, i do it slowly as to contribute as little as possible. of course when done slowly i guess they turn out better ne wayz since more care was put into making it. okay enough of gay 3rd period. 4th period we watched a video on shakespeare. that man was kinda strange. a lot of good and bad went on in his life, but i guess he turned out okay. i didn't know he ended up getting pretty wealthy though. i figured he was one of those starving playwright's that makes it big posthumously. so i guess i did learn something today.

jeez i still kinda smell like smoke from yesterday. i was barbecuing some chicken wings for my parents during the superbowl and i guess i absorbed a hefty amount of smoke, but at least it's not cigarette smoke. that stuff doesn't smell as good. so last night i didn't really watch much of the superbowl.i saw a couple commercials, but i mostly watched the simpsons at 6 and then got on the computer for the rest of the time. then charlie told me about the scary chinese thing and bobby tried sending it to me, but no! u cannot fool me! jeez i've come to know that if bobby tries to send me a link to ne thing, it's probably gonna scare the bajeezus outta me. so yes, that chinese one wasn't as bad as all those scary korean ones. i think the picture needed to be more scary. i mean it was alright, but could've been better. hmmm...maybe i'll look at it again today.

WOW! THAT WAS SCARY! i had music on last time i saw it so i didn't hear the screaming. omg! that was loud too! and i'm at work. luckily the sound is hooked up to a pair of earphones i DIDN'T have on, but still i could hear it and they're sitting under the monitor about a foot from my head. jeez if i had them on, i probably would freaked out 10x more. OMG! so freaky. no wonder charlie was a little frazzled over it this morning. of course i guess it's ur own fault for clicking on it. i mean look at the web address. notice the part that says 'netspooky.' come on, u had to see it coming. yeah i still think the screaming korean one was better. at least the picture for it was scarier, although this kinda fools u into thinking it's one thing and then all of a sudden BAM! so yes, that's so wack stuff. time to go listen to happy music and make me feel better.

jeez the only person to sign page 8 of my guestbook signed it 5 TIMES! OMG! take it easy! if u wanna tell me something just email me! i do check my email.

wow the date, i can't remember the last time it was like this. hmmm january 1, 2001? yeah probably. anyways i did the 'colorgenics' test in lynn's profile and this is result #1 and result #2. i'd say they were pretty accurate. so go try it out for yourself.

today my page has hit 3600 page views or something. not bad since it's about me, pretty much nothing of great importance.

02.01.02

that's weird. i don't even watch will and grace. in fact, i don't even watch tv all that much anyways.

haha that is very NOT me. nerd? wtf?! no way. i 'dislike' skool. well not as much now, but still there are other things i'd rather be doing. yeah so i remember watching this movie in health once. kinda weird...

YES! I AM HARDCORE TRENT! haha. yeah daria's a funny show. too bad they canceled beavis and butthead.

okay done with all the personality quizzes n stuff. pretty interesting if you ask me. although some i don't find to be very accurate *breakfast club* jeez. me? a nerd? dats wack yo. that's like saying jay-z's got little, tiny lips when we all know that's not true. hehe.

today i woke up at 8 and went jogging. oi that's good stuff...if you like pain and discomfort, but that's okay. i'll get used to it. ne wayz after jogging came home and took a shower, ate breakfast and got ready for skool. we had a morning assembly today so skool didn't start till 8.30 which means that i didn't need to be at skool till 9.30. that was great. i got a decent amount of rest and that equals happy dexter. 2nd period math was pretty calm. we went over our test from yesterday and turned in hw, etc. 3rd period wasn't that great however. i was forced to make candy roses again for valentine's day. that is straight up blasphemy against dexter. then 4th period we took a test and watched a video on william shakespeare. that guy....married a lady 8 years older than him and had a their first kid when he was 18! they weren't even married! OMG! so dirty. well the guy reminds me of a modern day dead-beat dad. he never was a part of the children's upbringing. he moved to london to pursue a career as a writer, theater-person, whatever. dang that is wack. oh well he's dead now so it doesn't matter.

hey it was bobby's birthday....sometime in this general time period. go say happy birthday to him!

kona grill, tonight at 9pm. chandler fashion center. be there.

corey needs to be less wack and learn some respect, youngin'.

next thursday afternoon i'm leaving for cali (bay area) for the weekend and will be back monday, i think. don't miss me too much, i doubt you will though. at least it's a nice change of pace right now. maybe i can pick up some cool fobby stuff while i'm there. a fobby car would be nice too although i'm not too sure what fobs drive. altimas?

must learn to drive stick...must go fast...must get new car...must soup up...must drive like anurag...

today on the way to work, i must've seen like a couple pretty nice cars. first was a bmw m3 on chandler in front of chandler fashion. then there was a ferrari under the overpass on chandler. on the freeway i saw an acura 3.2tl type s following a 2002 camry. the other day i saw a white supra on chandler blvd in front of my neighborhood. not sure if it was twin-turbo or not. i'm guessing it's the one from the neighborhood behind walgreens. then there's the occasional nsx here and there. followed by the rx-7 i followed on the way home from chinese skool a couple weeks back. OH! last night on the way to gungfu i saw a souped up hyundai....i forget. it's the smallest car they have. it was sooooooooo funny! man, no respect yo. it was so ugly. there was a big sticker that said 'hyundai' going across the said of it and the bumper had these 4 dots going across it. the hyundai also had an exhaust, but that's all i noticed. jeez that was pretty ghetto. korean cars...i guess the korean ppl had to make a mistake somewhere inbetween all the cool hair and catchy music.

Drink me!
Which drink are you?

saw this in hong2's profile. kinda intersting, but the questions seem pretty obvious towards what the outcome of the quiz will be. for example,"do you wear jewelry/adornments" implies if the drink will be garnished with anything or not. so simpo. no skill involved.

you know what movie you should see? well not 'a walk to remember.' you know why? ruining the movie.....now, mandy moore dies of cancer at the end. hahahah. betcha ya didn't see that one coming, huh? yep well i just saved you 5-8 scrilla. now go pool all your money together and buy me a car! ^_^

today i dropped my first period class. although it was a pretty cool class, sleep comes first. so tomorrow i don't need to go to skool till 9.30 and then i leave at about 11.30. 2 hours of skool sounds very good, but actually we have an early morning assembly that no normal ppl go to so that means skool actually starts at 8.30, but since i lack a first period class, you understand the rest. hopefully now i can get some more sleep and maybe get some jogging in the morning now.

off to work now. more to follow when i get there, i guess.

yeah so now i'm at work. fun stuff if what you consider fun is reading newspapers and making copies. so yes i've pretty much been on the internet for a while now just visiting random sites and what not. it's pretty not quiet around here right now. usually you would only hear the clicking of keyboards, but today...oh man they're having a meeting in a room across from one side of my cubicle. jeez these ppl, at least they could close the door and let me concentrate on 'work.' wow i'm tired right now. i bet i could fall asleep at my desk, if given the chance. uh-oh boss is near......okay i think he left. sweet. anyways work...oi i don't get paid this week. jeez this week feels like it's going by sooooo slow.

kona grill, friday. chandler fashion square at about 9pm, but i doubt some of us will get there till around 9.30 - 10.00. go.

i hear 'kung pow: enter the fist' is a gay movie. it looks pretty gay too so don't go watch it. i mean consider the 'genre' and then the main actor and you'll notice an inconsistency.

today i finally gave my speech for business internship. yep i did pretty bad actually, but that's okay cuz i didn't put any effort into it anyways. i basically went up, read everything straight off my sheet of notes, and sat down. yep i had 16 'grammatical errors', shifted around a lot, and kept pushing my hair outta my eyes cuz everytime i'd look down at the paper they'd get into them. yep i did pretty crappy, but at least that's over with now and i hope we won't have to do another one. first period i don't even know why i actually did any work. i'm dropping the class and it's pointless. oh well. i guess charlie can have whatever i got left in my file. well pretty much i spent my time checking up on the blog pages and reading about the new 2003 toyota corolla. not too shabby.

1tym's new cd. very interesting mix of musical styles and catchy as well. go listen to it.

a couple weeks back i requested some brochures from acura, bmw, nissan, toyota, subaru, lexus, infiniti, and mercedes. they all steadily came in and i think i got the last one a couple days back. there are some pretty nice cars in them. too bad my parents aren't gonna get me any of them. oh well i can still look at them and wish i had them. the cool thing was in nissan's brochure, they had a pic of the skyline gt-r in it. it was great, but they aren't bringing them here any time soon. on the other hand i read in a magazine that nissan might start selling them here in a couple years. 2 things that it will retain from the japanese version (and imo, the most essential parts) is the twin-turbo engine and all-wheel drive. yes! skyline! they also gave it an extensive exterior redesign, but it looked sleek and aggressive. oh man....skyline....

hey phimus is sick. everybody go give him chicken soup.

01.30.02
well i talked to my counselor today about dropping my first period class and after her 'advising' me that i shouldn't she ulimately left the decision up to me. obviously, i chose to drop it. hehe. so by friday, hopefully, i'll be out of this class and into getting more rest on a daily basis.

i haven't been up to much at work today. i read a couple newspapers, but that was about it for any sort of 'work.' the rest of the time i've been working on my speech on WWII japanese war crimes. yep it's some pretty wack stuff and one of the few things that actually gets me pretty pissed off. ah just another reason to 'dislike' jpop besides the fact that it is unimpressive and all, but one or two of the girls are actually hot ^_^

skool today...not a whole lot happened. same as usual pretty much. my first period teacher was kinda shocked that i was going to drop her class though. i mean she's a nice lady and the class is tolerable, but it's the only class i can drop and still pass or keep my job with. so pretty much math and english are necessary to graduate and business internship got me a job and let's me get enough rest in the morning. so narrowing that down, ms excel has to go. ne wayz i'd luv to take that class again sometime, although i don't think i will cuz it's my last year there. guess i'll jus take something at a comm college or asu (or bug charlie for the rest of the semester to teach me everything i missed). so yeah skool has took a turn for the better with the outlook of me getting more rest.

01.29.02
for some reason the techno remix of "the hamster dance" reminds me of chicken flavored cup-o-noodle. weird.....

found xiao xiao no.6. this one's not a movie, but a game. xiao xiao no.7 however seems to follow more of the john woo style of gunplay rather than the earlier hk martial arts fight scenes.

today i found out that since going to work counts as 2 class, i can actually drop 2 of my class and still be in skool. problem is i need math for college, but ms excel....hmmm....i consider dropping that now. i don't even need it. so if i did then i could wake up at like...7.45 or 8 giving me a total of about 9 hours of sleep. YES! finally, a way to get more rest. although i need to figure out a way to get my sister to skool now. that's the only thing standing in my way to getting more rest at night.

so i'm sitting here at work, doing absolutely nothing now. no stack of work to do, all my co-workers are at a 'staff meeting', and i just have no urge to lift a finger (except to type this). yesterday i finished up going thru (for the 2nd/3rd time) a pile of newspapers that i needed to find a particular advertisement. man that thing had been sitting on my desk for about....a month...and a half, maybe? i dunno, the lady who gave it to me didn't really give me a due date or put any real priority on it so knowing the way i work, slowly, i jus got it done yesterday. yep so now my only responsibility now is to read the newpaper that comes in daily and check for articles pertaining to water rights. although sometimes i forget what i'm looking for and just end up reading random articles and comics. oh well.

yesterday in business internship class i took a survey given by the state of arizona. it asked a bunch of questions like, "have you ever smoked pot?", "how many times do you do crack a month?", and "would your parents ever found out if you drank or not?" pretty friggin lame and of course i was truthful. i answered no on a majority of the questions except "do you think it's okay to beat someone up if they started the fight?" or "how much do you enjoy skool?" the answers are simple. yes and none whatsoever. also, they emphasized the same questions over and over again. "have you ever brought a gun to skool?" "do you do drugs?" "do you drink?" all of those must've come up like 10 times. as for weapons they only focused on guns. so i thought to myself, since ppl consider big biceps "guns", could i say that some ppl bring "guns" to skool everyday? in a stupid sorta way, i could. ai yah i'm just rambling now, but it got me out of doing any sort of work that period so it's all good.

bruises on my arms....bruises on my arms....bruises on my arms....

skool today was complete and utter drudgery as usual. i wake up extremely tired and pissed off, get ready for skool, and sit thru 4 hours of useless-fact repetition. i hate skool. whoever thought of skool should go to hell, straight to hell, do not pass go, do not collect $200. i mean education is important, but who said that we are all the same and should learn in the exact same manner. definitely not me, but apparently the gov't took it upon itself to decide this, not the student or their parents. for example, the AIMS test incorporated into the az education system by lisa graham keegan. that was the biggest waste of money and time. if it was so 'successful' why is it not being used as of now? jeez, the people that society puts in office. well it seems like the only ppl voting nowadays are old ppl who could care less about anyone, but old ppl like themselves. no joke. retirement communities? what is this bs? man some old ppl....okay goin off on tangent, but yes skool today was anything, but edifying. first period, i wanted to sleep, but instead i typed the hour away. 2nd period, math....i hate math. 3rd period, once again forced to make candy roses. 4th period, i just slept the entire hour. don't remember anything in class, not that it was important or anything. so this is how i live out my 2nd semester as a senior, in a bullshit rat-race type schedule that does nothing, but wear me out more and more. growing up has only made the world seem smaller to me. i remember as a kid, being so small and feeling that the world was so big. there was something new around every corner, but not anymore. weekdays skool and work, weekends relax and that will be life for the next....50 years? i find no excitement in this way of life. it is so dull and boring. i don't want just the 'average' life because this 'average' to me implies nothing, but repetitions of just going through the same routine over and over and over. i mean, i envy people who don't have to worry about making a living and just doing the thing they enjoy most in life. for example, shaolin monks. they train like 18 hours a day and don't have to worry about the clothes on their back or where their next meal will come from. they just do what they enjoy most for the rest of their days. man i wish i could do that, but no. i'm not as blessed as they are. though i may have a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and food on the table, i am still not happy. i am grateful for all this, but i am definitely not enjoying life altogether. whatever this is going on for way too long now. life sux. end of story.

01.27.02
HEY EVERYBODY! RUFIO'S COMING TO THE NILE FEBRUARY 15TH (Friday night). so you should all go cuz i'm gonna go and it'll be the first show i'll have gone to in .....3 days short of 9 months. wow that's sad, but for good reason. ne wayz rufio is a rad band. they have a unique sound, kinda, but the lyrics are more reminiscent of the ataris. so that would explain why i listen to them almost as much as the ataris. so yes. shoot me in the face.

hahah jay-z's - "girls girls girls" funny song. especially the chinese chick part. "i had this chinese chick. i had to leave her quick cuz she kept bootleggin my Sh*t." haha so funny. it's true though.

hmmm....373 mp3's and counting. i need a bigger hard drive...

hey i got a really crappy joke for ya.

Q. What's fred's favorite animal?
A. a...DAWG!

friday was ddr night and i was surprised p. larry got all those ddr systems together. well it was fun, but they should've taped the pads down and then i would've owned. well...at least the ppl under 5 ft. i'm not too sure about if i could measure up to hardcore grandmaster berzerkers such as evan or bobby. so yeah we ended up at applebee's again. jeez we really need to find a new place to go. well charlie says that kona grill is actually pretty good. so i guess next week we're headed there. haha. put them outta business ^_^

saturday was crappy. i stayed home almost all day, but i did go to charlie's for like 2 hours and played dynasty warriors 3. that was pretty cool, great game too. then went out to dinner w/ my family at sweet tomato. hmmm....i'm starting to like the food there better. i have learned that salad isn't all that bad. well when it's done right. then i got on the internet for a while....till like 1 in the morning. pretty freakin ghetto.

01.25.02
dang last night at gungfu i took quite a beating. let's see, punched in the teeth, nose and head. yes and there was a fair share of blood coming from the nose and the mouth. yep it felt good. pain builds character and from what tv has taught me, chix dig guys w/ injuries. well my nose is still kinda sore, my teeth ached a little last night, but no headaches. also, i bruised the instep of my foot from kicking a couple ppl in the knee so walking isn't top notch as of now. then there were those annoying punches to the mid-section i kept missing. that ended up w/ me taking a couple hits to the gut as well. man last night was a pretty awesome class.

now finally to settle a little dispute over "how many helicopters went down in 'Black Hawk Down'" and i quote from the Eastern Arizona Courier:

"...Of course, the operation goes horribly wrong as TWO UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopters were shot down..."
- SAB, Wednesday January 23, 2002 Page 2B

so there you have it. two helicopters went down, NOT three.

skool was pretty gay today. i was tired again so i tried to sleep in a couple classes. first period was pretty normal. jus did work on computer like usual. second period, math, i got a test back. 9/20. ugh so bad. i hate math. third period, i was subjected to sweat shop labor as i made candy roses for business internships valentine's day fundraiser. fourth period, i got a test back over 'the canterbury tales' 100% so i guess that makes up for the shitty math test. then took a vocab test and that sums up my useless day at skool.

this is kinda intersting. david ou's website. take a look. weird guy. ^_^

01.24.02
well i can post on charlie's blog page thingy now. so now you can expect to see a whole lot more.....unimportant, me-stuff on there i guess. oh well.

i was soooooooooo tired this morning. i didn't think i could get outta bed. man these days it feels like i gotta put all my effort into waking up and not falling back asleep. ai yah. stupid skool. an extreme dislike could describe one of the feelings i have towards it. skool = no bueno. but wait, i'm a senior. why am i not ditching more classes? taking more "days off"? hmmm....

monday was one of the biggest waste of a day i've ever had. i sat at home ALL DAY LONG! i hate that! i could've gone out too except for my lack of car kind've hindered that capability. then when i finally decided that i was gonna go out, which was around 6 pm, my mom says, "no! you've been out all weekend and your dad probably hasn't seen you around very much!" and i'm thinking that's complete bullshit. i could care less. big deal if i'm not around very much. i do good in skool, stay out of trouble and do all those communist chores of their's so they don't have a good reason to keep me home. damn i hate it when they do that. i wonder how i even survived middle skool or before i started driving. i guess i was easily amused with other things like snes emulators. i remember how i'd sit at home all weekend and play games like earthbound, mega man x 1/2/3, ff4/5/6, secret of mana 1/2, and all those other great games.

yesterday i went to one of those COE/student intern meetings at work. good stuff. i get out of an hour of work, i get fed, and i'm still paid. goodness can they think of anything better? well they had soda and cookies, but the cookies were pretty good. they were about price club quality cookies. then some people from random departments around the building started talking about what they do in their departments and we had the "quality" department. they monitor the calls from the customer service ppl. it's great. they have goofy, yet lame prizes to 'motivate' the workers and then these workers put up with crap from all the stupid customers and are practically forced to follow a certain guideline of answering phones, introduction, etc. SO ANAL OMG! i would hate a job like that. keyword here is HATE, but yeah they gave me a stress-reliever happy face ball so i squished it's face a lot and made my forearms tired. all in all, a good way to kill time at work.

wow it's thursday already. i'm glad this week is almost over, but i still need to find a controversial subject to talk about for my speech thing next week. i can't really think of much though. this one kid in my class suggested "volcanos and how they're dangerous to your health." hehe that reminds me of the episode of south park where the kids go hunting with stan's uncle and his vietnam war buddy. they get lost and the rescue team is shown an educational film about volcano safety. the film said that when you're in the path of lava flow that you should 'stop, drop, and roll.' in the movie the people who do that turn out fine, but when it was applied in real life by the rescue workers, they were burnt alive. hahahahahahah i luv south park. anyways, back to possible speech topics. first, i asked myself, "what could i possibly talk about for 3 min that the class might want to listen to?" so i came up with illegal street racing. well i figured that the teacher wouldn't be too cool with the subject seeing as the word "illegal" is in it, but if i talked about how i didn't like it and it should have more laws/restrictions on it then i would be lying. so now i'm stuck. i can't think of a single thing that i possibly care to talk about in class. in fact, i hate going up in front of the class and speaking. it's retarded i tell ya. so if you thought of any great topics, let me know and i'll....give you a big sloppy kiss....or a kick in the teeth just depending on who you are.

sooooooooo freakin weird. i found that my old hometown has a website. well if you care to look click here. then there's my old elementary skool, pioneer elementary. man what a 'trip down memory lane' as "big tall american" say. ^_^ i mean check out the diversity at the skool

it's crazy, like a quarter of the students are asian, the other quarter flip, and it's not like here in az where the majority are 'lao muoh' and 'bai gwei'. not that i do not like these ppl, but like with everything, too much of something can be bad. they are one of those things. another reason i miss cali. well since i'm on the subject of old town cali then here's a link to the high skool that i would've went to, james logan hs. here again is another ethnic breakdown.

so yeah there it is. it's kinda funny cuz i was goin thru the list of clubs and theres an afghan club, muslim club, and viet club. omg....

wow i finally saw some pics of my old classmates from elementary skool. jeez so crazy. i never thought i'd ever see them again. jeez i'm kinda feelin weird right now. no joke. this is soooo weird. now i wonder to myself what it would've been like if i had never moved to az. obviously i wouldn't be the same. that's for sure. although i still wonder, would i be 'better?' you know what's also weird now is that everything seems to have slowed down. looking at all that stuff makes...yeah it felt like an hour or two, but it's only been half an hour or so since i've been goin over this stuff. oi i feel real weird now. i think i better stop before i get too nostalgic or something.

song of the moment: antifreeze - "Is he your boyfriend?" and "On and on"

01.23.02
i'm apple flavoured!

dang i'm a stupid apple! ugh~ yep i knew it, i'm a pretty boring, average person and what's the text supposed to say? it's tiny. i can make out "apple of someone's eye" and i say to myself "WTF?! who's eye and why haven't i met this person?" yep i luv stupid internet tests. they make my life complete.

01.21.02
wow so it's 12.48 right now. i would be asleep and i am kinda tired, but i haven't wrote anything in here this weekend. well my weekend was alright so far. friday was the typical yg/applebee's night. saturday i woke up and went to get my haircut and since i was in the area, i went to golfland for the early morning special. i only had to pay 3 bux when i got there cuz it was 11 and it ended at 12 so lowering the price would be the reasonable thing to do. after golfland i went home and called ppl up. so i ended up at yamakasa's which is like REALLY close to my house. the food there's not bad. at least it's a japanese restaurant with japanese cooks unlike the fake chinese restaurants here with mexican cooks. well after yamakasa's i went to peter piper's across from amc 24 and met up with brian. we played some pump then went back to his house to chill. jim tai and harry youm came over and jim was getting "scolded" by his mom for his recent defiance. oi. anyways, we all went to dv to check what jim and harry got on their regionals thing and ran into "mr. haggert," the guy who has to repeat the same sentence, only reworded slightly, about 10 times to get his point across. he also called harry a "nice dresser" or like a "hip gangster" and went so low as "pimp." omg that was the best. so jim was being ordered home by the facist regime known as "his parents" and harry dropped brian and me off at brian's car in the peter piper parking lot. we met bobby at amc 24 and saw "black hawk down." that movie was great. it made me wanna shoot some "skinnies." then we were hungry after the movie so we went to IHOP. our waiter was mormon or something. weird as hell, but very nice. then it was back home for me. today was my typical sunday, church and chinese skool. after all that craziness i went to golfland with phi, brian, angeles, amelia, wei, and nick. i saw bobby, not korean hair, chinese bobby but asu/brandon's friend bobby. i was pretty impressed at his ddr abilities for they were quite good. i didn't even know that he played ddr. so anyways, golfland has got a bunch of new games now. it's great. they've become like a japanese import arcade. i luv it. then all of us went to wendy's and then wei's house. we watched "the fast and the furious" at wei's and then wei showed me how to drive stick. good times. so now i'm back here writing on this website thingy at..... 1.03 am monday morning. well i should get to sleep soon. no work for me tomorrow! YES!

song of the moment: The Calling "Wherever You Will Go"
one of the very few 'alternative' type songs i enjoy right now

okay pretty tired now. it's 1.24 so i'm going to sleep now. sweet dreams. goodnite. sleep tight. don't let the bed bugs bite.

a cool link for you to 'stare' at. follow the directions and the results are awesome. trust me. click here. remember, "eye hart ewe"

01.18.02
YES! it's friday and only an hour left at work!! man the first hour felt like forrrr eee vvveeerrrrrr....well ne wayz i've noticed that parking is way better on fridays cuz pretty much no ones here. the best part about work today would have to be the fact that i swiped a sandwich from one of the meeting rooms. mmm sandwich. i think i'll go back to get the rest of them hehe. yes i'm hungry, but at least i have my sandwich with me. i luv srp, except for the whole "work" part. other than that i have nothing to complain about. the cafeteria food is like 10 billion times better than any high skool cafeteria food. it could even be considered kinda "ritzy" unless ur lee-lynn then it's pretty much the typical scottsdale, private skool fare.

well i need to figure out something good to do for my great 3-day weekend. no golfland cuz i've been there 2 weeks in a row. no cfc or movies at cfc cuz i practically live there. maybe a movie somewhere else. there's plenty of good movies out right now. ocean's eleven, not another teen movie, how high, brotherhood of the wolf, black hawk down. the theaters are just blooming with good stuff.

awww i finished my sandwich now...dang i think i'll go swipe another one. brb.

okay i'm back. got another sandwich, but not ONLY a sandwich. i now have a PICKLE as well. along with some mustard and mayo. great stuff. hmmmm....wonder if i should go for thirds? mmmm ham n swiss goodness.

as i continue eating my sandwich, i might as well go on about...how much i need a car. haha you didn't see that one coming. actually i don't think i really NEED a car as much as i WANT a car. although for convenience reasons, me being a convenience-enthusiast, it'd probably save my dad and me a lot of time during the day. i wouldn't have to pick him up after work anymore. that in turn gives me time to do my hw again, instead of doing it at work like i do right now. also, say on weekends that i'd like to go out. well usually that does go smoothly unless my dad is at work and takes the van, in which case it means i don't drive. i either have to have a friend pick me up or wait for my dad to get home. you may think, your family only has one car now? well no, the lexus is completely off limits to me, well a majority of the time. so for convenience sake i'd say that it'd be great if some wealthy philanthropists *looking in the direction of "scottsdale"* decided to help a poor high skool abc out and buy him a high performance import car. now i'm not asking for much, but a skyline gt-r would suffice. if not i'd settle for a nissan 300zx. while we're on the subject of twin-turbo they could also consider the supra or maybe an rx-7. any will do, but if you're feeling especially jewish that day a subaru wrx will still get me from place to place. in case you're not the very "sporty" type, you could always donate a lexus or infiniti to my great cause. well if you're not feeling particularly "japanese" (remember "turning japanese" is a song, not a disease a certain bmw owner suffers from ^_^) then maybe we should move onto european cars, mainly german ones. a majority of the mercedes-benz, bmw, audi lineup would do just fine as long as it's not an suv/hatchback-back type car. other than that go for it. remember, as a wealthy and elite upperclass cosmopolitan, money is not a problem. a car is merely chump change to you. so do remember that there are people dying (socially) of inconvenience out here and with your help you could save a (social)life.

dang i finished my 2nd sandwich. hmmmm a third one, maybe?......naw i'm full now. finally. then i guess i'm not goin back up to finish off the rest of the potato salad they had. oh well.

well i'm off now. back home i go. i'll see everyone at yg tonight, i guess. late.

01.17.02
yeah it turns out i didn't really have pink eye like i thought i did yesterday. i guess i was just rubbing my eye too much. so unfortunately i ended up going to skool today which sucked like usual, but on the way to work i saw this really sweet black supra. it had this huge exhaust, but for some reason wasn't very loud. that's a big plus. also, for the 2nd day in a row, on the freeway i think there was another snake-type roadkill. omg that thing is smashed pretty flat and still quite colorful. it's like a work of art on the asphault. the swirl and nice contrast of colors point towards a very "chic" (i saw this word on a girls shirt today) piece of fine art. then at work on of my co-workers gives me 2 slices of pizza from this place called LoCascio's in scottsdale. well the slices are friggin huge! i've pretty much got an entire meal on my hands as of now. oi i'm tired...

today in ms excel class (i guess that's what i'd call it) charlie showed me his blog page thing. jeez why am i always the last person to find out about this stuff. pretty much everyone else has been using this thing for a couple weeks now. oh well until charlie gets his website back up i suppose it's the next best thing.

in skool today i was unable to fall asleep in class. i consider this to be a great travesty in which i was cold-heartedly robbed of necessary "me time." math consisted of me taking notes and trying to fall asleep, but more importantly taking notes. business internship had me doing reviews for ppl and the whole toastmasters da bien we have going on in class. stupid toastmasters, but at least i got to make candy roses at the end of class. that at least entertained me and was worth staying awake for. finally, i conclude my skool day in english class where we read "the miller's tale" from "the canterbury tales." this story was amazingly disgusting listing some VERY dirty parts in it as well as a variety of off-color "bodily functions." omg i can't believe that we read that in skool, but hey at least it was funny. it's kind of like a "me, myself, and irene/there's something about mary" but set in merry ol' england. again i was not able to fall asleep in class because of the constant snicker by some perverts in the class. to sum up this short blurb, "i hate skool."

wow the body kits from erebuni for the 2000+ sentra are pretty sweet looking. hey they even have altima ones on here. another set of body kits for the altima from spolers etc. don't look to bad, either. from what i've heard, this body kit was on the altima featured in "the fast and the furious."

i'm sore right now. man after getting back into the swing of things after the holiday season, it's brutal. all that bad stuff i ate has come back to haunt me. with every ache and pain, it screams, "HAHA! look what you get for eating me now! MWAHAHAHA!!!" oi that's scary. i'm kinda considering not going to gungfu tonight. of course tonight is a "kicking" night and that means mucho cardio, but i'm not sure if i feel like i'm up for it. too tired. stupid work. i sit on my butt all day and get on the internet. that in turn dulls my mind and for some reason i'm always tired after work even though i didn't really do a whole lot of physically demanding tasks. whatever.
man i'm doin math hw right now and it sux. i didn't pay attention in class and jus wrote down what the teacher had on the overhead. now, all my notes are jus useless facts and random chicken scratch to me. i hate being tired in the morning. it's gotta be one of those things i'd have on a top 10 list of "things i hate."

*song of the moment - Jimmy Eat World "The Middle"
what a catchy song!

YAY! the weekend is almost here! 3-day weekend! 4-day week! now if only i had more meaningful things to do on weekends besides sleep in.

sequel to the great "xiao xiao no.3" or basically 'kungfu stick figures' here is "xiao xiao no.5". i'd say it's pretty good and it incorporates more into it such as some dragon ball z-type action. to find more flash movies like this check out the xiao xiao section on newgrounds.

01.15.02
wow cool game on newgrounds right now. you can soup up some cars and stuff. it's kinda like paper dolls, but with cars. either way it's still really fun. click here. another neat game on newgrounds might be Bruce Lee: Tower of Death. it's a sidescroller action game where you play as Bruce Lee with the Wong Fei Hung music playing in the background.

some really corny jokes i read in the newspaper at work today.

* Why did Humpty Dumpty have a great fall?
* He wanted to make up for a louse summer.

* Why didn't Noah fish very often?
* He only had two worms

* Why did the scientist install a knocker on his door?
* To win the no-bell prize

haha weren't those jokes great?! OH MAN so awesome. also an interesting quote i found with all these jokes...

"those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't"

yeah i'd say that's pretty true nowadays. john woo movies being a good example. OH! or the first "wong fei hung/once upon a time in china" movie when that one "iron shirt" sifu runs out to where the british are waiting with their guns and gets shot up even those his gungfu is "very good." eh nevermind you'd probably have to see it to understand what i'm talking about.

skool today was boring as usual. ms excel/access i finished all my work early so i jus did the vocab for the next section in the book. math was jus math, bleh. business internship we got on the computer to "take notes" which means i write something down every so often as i wander around the internet. then english i slept as the rest of the class read some story. what a fun day, at least this weekend is a 3-day weekend. yes! then next week is a 4-day week! yes! i luv 3 day weekends.

on the way to work today i saw more roadkill. mmmmm delicious....not really, but today it was a snake from what was left of it. a beautiful work of art it was not, it was as flat as paper. one with the pavement. i couldn't believe how flat it was. yeah that was the highlight of my workday, something i see on the drive there, not work itself.

man last friday night was pretty wack. after yg charlie, bobby, calvin, brandon, phi & me were gonna see "how high" at amc 24 at 10.10. to our surprise, there was no 10.10 show of "how high." it was gay, me and charlie saw it on the internet and it said "AHWATUKEE AMC 24 "HOW HIGH" (R)10:10" i guess smarterchild is not up to date that rat bastard. what's worse was the jr. high teeny boppers all over the place. it's a place that i can see jack being the king of. i mean come on it's big jack's former hangout until he got into high skool. oh well we saw matt's crazy friend from valley christian and he told us to stay asian. well that's not to hard, funny kid. then i saw TOM! i haven't seen tom in forever. i miss the days we had together in math class. they were great. ah we remenisced on the old days and how we were gonna get honda civics & soup them up and start our own H.O.T. tribute band. then thai/mike whatever u call him was there, too. dang i see that guy everywhere. mostly at chandler fashion though. so to conclude our night we went out to eat at one of the lovely local restaurants. good food hehe.

O_o <"peace out friends") says naR.

so my dad says to me saturday, "yeah since we're goin to china next summer, i kinda wanted to save up a little more money for it so what do you think of a corolla? how about a sentra?" in other words, i only have about a 5k budget or something. ech, so i figured corolla's are weak and the older ones not only lack engine power, but are ugly. sentras however 2000+ are decent as long as it's the se which is basically a 4 door 200 sx se-r. although, the rest of the sentra family is somewhat questionable. to sum all this up, my next car is most likely gonna suck. so i thought to myself, "how about an eclipse? i mean they're pretty nice cars. hey the gsx is turbocharged, all-wheel drive." so i check that out on autotrader and this is what i come up with. i remember howard showed it to me a while back and i'm surprised it's still for sale. it's a tad expensive, but it's a pretty awesome car. 20k in interior mods, 20k on the engine. 400 hp AND it looks pretty sweet! if only i had 27k. sadly that's the only gsx i could find on autotrader. it seems they're a pretty rare breed. all the other stuff was rs, gs, and maybe the occasional gst. not up par for me. dang it sux bein a teenager with a lack of money and transportation.

*wise words from lord phymus*
"skools not so bad. it's the waking up early part i have a problem with."
*amen brutha*

today at work there was some breakfast type foods on a table near my cubicle. it was free! YAY! the best kind of food! anyways, i ended up bein a pig and took a blueberry muffin, a whole bagel with cream cheese, and some orange juice. of course not all at once. you gotta be a real glutton to do that. ^_^

i smell like smoke : P (don't worry, it's bbq smoke.)

i'm tired now....*yawn*...back to work i go...

my weekend went by too fast. this week sucked. it felt like it went by sooooo slow. i hate that, i really do. well ne wayz my weekend was pretty lax. didn't do an intense amount of new things. jus the same ol' stuff. eat out, hang, go to charlie's house. u know the whole deal. heck even chinese skool was the same. i sit there and listen to the teacher say a whole bunch of incoherent psycho commie babble i don't understand and i nod my head and copy down whatever she's writing. it's great! well yeah i really don't feel like goin to skool.

hmmmm....let's see what'd i do all of last week? oh yeah the same daily rat-race i feel like i'm in. skool, work, and gungfu. let's see i'm tired, mentally and physically. oi that's bad. skool is jus dumb, work is numbing my senses and gungfu makes me sore as hell, bruises and all. well i decide to take a night off wednesday cuz i'm tired and sore. u know what i do? sit in my room all by myself and do hw. then i turned out the lights, turned on the weird fountain-y things and stuff in my room and listened to the ataris. ai yah bad! haha what is wrong w/ me? hell if i know. i jus sat in bed and listened to the ataris....and then went to sleep. wow. that was a productive thing to do. ugh. ai yah and why am i still doing things like...listening to the ataris?! jeez, i really need to find other stuff....like chicago ^_^ that reminds me, i've seen 3 cars this week from illinois!!! OMG!

01.08.02
for everyone out there w/ an altima, and i know there are a few of you, i have found the model altima everyone's should strive to be like.

a nice import car racer spin on garfield...

01.07.02
it's crazy. we're back in skool now. that is a big "fei chang bu hao" as a goofy "abc" would say it. i miss sleeping in and all that time i had off to do whatever i wanted. well the only big difference for me now in skool is that i have ms excel/access certification first period instead of ghetto us/az gov't. oh the great things i have to say about this spiffy computer class (as of now). i mean, come on, charlie's in my class now! that's great! also, a majority of my time spent in the class will be on the internet, from what i've heard. that and i don't have to bring my book to that class makes it all the better. in fact, goin on the way i've worked it out, i won't have to go to my locker more than one or two times for the rest of the year. YES! now i can actually be on time for 4th period now! that reminds me, when i got my report card or whatever they call it nowadays, it said that i only had 4 tardies in that class, when in actuality i had.....a whole bunch. then after skool today i went to the office to get a temporary parking pass for the minivan. sad part is that it's only good for a week, but i can fix that. see the pass is actually just a handwritten note from the vice-principal on his own stationary. now i leave this note on my dashboard and that should "suffice," so he says. well all i need to do is add a couple lines here and there and voila! it is valid to july 17th instead of january 11th. hehe. yeah i know that's really dumb, but hey our skool security guards are dumber so it'll work. that about sums it up for my first day back in skool.

last night i tried getting to sleep early. that didn't happen. after goin to my room at about 9.50 and trying to do my devotionals, i took longer than normal and ended up turning out the lights at 10.30. that wasn't the end of it either. i found out that even though ur body wants to go to sleep, if ur mind isn't at rest then ur body won't be either. i guess it's this way cuz through out the day things are pretty non-stop so i don't really get ne time to myself. i'm always doing something and there is never a moment where i jus get to think to myself. that and complete silence and stuff really adds to the problem. since i'm not hearing ne outside noises it seems that i can hear myself think more clearly. in this case, once i get started it can go one for a while. so as i lie there thinking about "things" i tossed and turned for about 30-60 min. yep, weirdness. what's even more weird that i make plans and tell myself that "this is what ur gonna do" and i feel confident that i can, but when i wake up the next day and think about it again i feel like "what was i thinking?!" so this neverending battle on whether i will or won't is jus really bugging me and robbing me of much needed rest. in fact i probably could go to sleep right now if i wanted to.

so another year has gone by and thinking back on it i realize there were a lot of first's for 2001. so much went on that year. first started driving, first speeding ticket, first traffic skool, first year w/ a half schedule at skool, first went to hawaii, first job, first time i had a miserable summer vacation, first christmas w/o my family, first stopped goin to shows at the nile, etc. i would name a couple more firsts, but hey this is the internet and ne one can look at what i write here so yeah i'll leave the others out and u can ask me whenever u see me. all in all, a lot of up's and down's that i guess can be "valuable life lessons" in some way. one things for sure, i definately won't forget that year.

today in my third period business internship class i can remember some funny and "interesting" phrases/words used. for example, the classic bobby-phimus phrase/conversation "not funny" uttered by my teacher when she was telling us some story i forgot about now. so then i thought to myself, "no...it is funny." then when we were talking about what we did on our break, this one girl says, "oh i went to chicago." lucky girl hehe i think only lynn would get that one.

hey you wanna see something cool? tell me who this is a picture of:

O_o

hehe. jus think long and hard about who looks like that. hmmmmm NAR?

oh yeah today in english i heard this great joke.

what does snoop dogg use to wash his whites?
....ble-ACH!

HAHAHAH!!! do you get it?! ble-ACH = bi-OTCH! hahah it's the best. yeah yeah i know it was really dumb.

yesterday was pretty intense. i went to the mall to meet up w/ josh and we saw like half the arizona asian community there. it was crazy. we threw a stink bomb near an atm on the dillards side of the mall and watched the fun. wow! it was soooooo funny. i laughed so much that my eyes started to water. all these ppl were making funny comments as they walked by. even this little girl w/ her mom said (in a whiny, child-like voice) "EWWWWW!!! it smells like POOP!!" dang that was the best and the stink bomb smelled so bad we could smell it from the kay-bee toys a little ways down from where we threw it. then later that night gungfu testing lasted like 3 HOURS!!! it was hardcore. then this morning i had to help sifu test the junior students at 7.30 this morning. ai yah i went to sleep at 1 and my friend woke me up this morning at exactly 7.30 when he rang the doorbell. i was still in bed, half-asleep and incoherent. ne wayz i made it to gungfu ontime and stayed till 11.15. that adds up to 3 hours and 45 min this morning. in fact, i've been lacking lots of sleep for the past 4-5 days. that makes for an unhappy dexter, ESPECIALLY since i'm on break right now! oh well at least when i get back to skool i won't have that communist us/az gov't class. i'm now in ms excel/access certification w/ charlie! YAY! but i don't have a car to drive to skool ne more. no bueno as they say in mexico. well ne wayz i'm goin back to the mall to wreak more havoc. till next time'!

an interesting newspaper article i read at work. it's about crazy venezuelan debt collectors.

01.03.02
hehe i found this keen link while i was at work. check it out. it's called hyakugojyuuichi. it's the best inane jpop ever! then there's kung fu phil vs. the death cookie. hehe. the name says it all. yet another jpop classic. next up is nya nya nya. it's the touching story of the meowth evil circus run by corporate giant bill gates. can't u imagine the fun that ensues? well here's the website of the guy who made all these one of a kind flash cartoons. have fun and smile! ^_^

merry christmas and happy new years to everyone. i got back from cali sunday night and have been on the go since then. i have relatives(i think) in town from cali and there's a lot of "hustle and bustle" around the house. well at least it's good to be home and sleep in my own bed again. i luv my bed. it's nice and big compared to the one at the resort. ne wayz it was real nice out in cali. the weather was pretty cool and we stayed at the lawrence welk resort in escondido which is north of san diego. the room was really nice. it had a kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms and 2 seperate rooms w/ beds. then there was cable tv, the rec center w/ 2 ping pong tables & 2 pool tables, the hours of monopoly we played, and just a whole bunch of other stuff. all in all it would have to be the best hotel-type place i've ever stayed at.

so i'm guessing that everyone really wants to know what i did out in san diego for an entire week. so here it goes:

sunday
after church we left around 2.30 and drove for a while. we ate at jack in the box and then got to the resort around 8-9 something. not a whole lot went on that day. mostly driving.
monday
woke up and went to work out w/ brian and jack. then when we got back there was some discussion on whether ne thing was open on christmas eve. some of us said there was and others didn't so we all stayed at the resort that day and jus hung out at the resort all day. we played some pool and ping pong at the rec center and watched lots of tv. later on someone got monopoly from the front desk and we started the on-going feud that lasted a couple days. when jack and me got the game there was this guy at the front desk who told us to buy up all the orange properties. so we told brian and mark that we'd skool them at monopoly w/ our secret strategy we dubbed "the white guy" strategy. let me warn u now, the strategy did not work and we lost miserably. the lesson learned? never listen to a white guy when it comes to playing monopoly.

tuesday
ah christmas day. we went to work out again in the morning and afterwards went to downtown to check out a shopping center. well turns out everything was closed. so we walked around the shopping center like a bunch of lost tourists staring at all the stores that were closed. i felt all warm and fuzzy inside. i luv those funny tourist feelings. ne wayz we left the shopping center and went to some light house across the bay from coronado island. then it was back to downtown to look for a place to eat lunch. we drove around for about an hour and finally decided to go to this 99cent chinese food place. it wasn't too great, but hey the name says it all. you get what u play for. kinda like brian and jack's 50 cent health bar thingies from some 99cent store nearby. afterwards we saw "shallow hal" since the movies are one of the few things that're open on christmas day besides gas stations and bars. the ppl in downtown r pretty friendly too, even the bums n stuff. they gave us peace signs and this one guy came into the 99cent chinese food place and yelled merry christmas to everybody. it was great. so when we had our fill of downtown we went back to the resort and thus concluded tuesday.
wednesday
wednesday was pretty fun. since it was the day after christmas and that's when all the sales were goin on. we drove out to some outlet mall/casino and shopped there for most of the day. b4 we left i was REALLY thirsty so i went looking for something to drink. suddenly i see these kids run by holding icees. i was entranced and knew that i had to have one. so i embarked on a great journey in search of this slushy carbonated delight. i went to all the booths in the food court, but couldn't find it. eventually i see this older woman with one so i burst forth after her in hot pursuit. i catch up to her and politely ask her where she got it. "HEY LADY! WHERE DA HELL'D YA GET DAT?!" ^_^ it turns out it was at the mcdonalds i went to earlier. i just happened to overlook it when i went in. well from a eyewitness account, brian says i ran down an old man and stepped on a child's head when i went running after that lady.....i must've not noticed them. ne wayz after the outlet mall/casino we all went to visit jamie. man her house is soooooo big!!! ai yah! but yeah we had dinner there and i saw big johnny who had like 5 bowls of "nyu roh mein"(phonetically, please don't laugh). well while we were there i saw "shaolin soccer" and "gone in 60 seconds" haha "shaolin soccer" was a great movie. where else do u see guys dribbling a soccer ball while bustin out some mad flares?

thursday
thursday was sooooooo great! we went to today, the infamous japanese buffet. well there was an eating contest goin on between jack and me vs. brian and mark. ohhhhhh mmyyyyy ggggooodddneeessss! that was the most i'd ever eaten in my entire life!!!! ai yah!!! each of us 2 plates of the normal hot buffet, 2 plates of sushi, and like 4-5 plates of desert w/ all those little yogurt cups. sadly jack and i lost by one sushi which jack spit up cuz it was too gross to eat by the end. well it was a good effort put in by all and we sure as hell did get our money's worth. then we went to la jolla beach for an hour just to check it out. it was really nice. i caught a great view of the sunsetting near the ocean's horizon. it was beautiful...

friday
i remember friday quite well. after a long struggle we ended up going to san diego wild animal park or something. brian agreed w/ his parents to spend 4 hours there total so that wasn't too bad, but by the second hour we had seen the entire park and wanted to leave. we caught a couple animal shows where the animals mostly deficated on the ground the stood upon in front of a crowd of ppl. it was horrible. i'll never forget that. that's for sure. well we killed some time by letting mark get something to eat. i tried calling some ppl, but most of them didn't pick up so i called home and talked to "that person who lives at my house and eats my food" for half an hour. eventually we left the zoo w/o incident or getting pooped on by ne of the animals, thank God.

saturday
saturday was quite possibly the best day i had there. we traveled to a little piece of earth known as rowland heights aka "heaven on earth" dang that city is reason enough to move back to cali. chinese ppl, korean ppl, every ppl....well jus the first two, but it was great. oh man when u get there u think to urself "am i back in china/seoul?" or something haha. that was really corny, but ne wayz there was tons of stuff there that was great. we had lunch at this food court place w/ like 8 chinese restaurants in it. it was pretty good and then we met up w/ bobby at puente hills mall and he showed us around. i bought something for the first time at bath and body works. hey it was cheap! gimme a break! 5 things for 10 bux so i picked up some lotion for mark and jack and got some anti-bacterial hand stuff for me. hey now, i only got it cuz it is flammable like a mofo...and it smells good, BUT ne wayz the cashier lady was rude and she made me angry. i hate that. after the mall we went to some korean plaza and bought more stuff there. then we went to a 99 ranch which had some indoor shopping center in it and had dinner at a buffet. wow what a great day.
sunday
our last day there we just packed up and came home. we left at around 10.30 and got back around 6 or so. not much action that day. jus glad to be home....well kinda, i still miss cali, but at least i can sleep in my own bed now. YAY!

sadly our yg movie sucked poop! kanyon's group was like 10x better. friggin hilarious. man if david had showed up and we had a little more time, as well as better editing, a better plot, special fx, music, and maybe some credits n stuff like that it would've been pretty good. since david wasn't there, mark and howard had to fill in for him at key points. there were also certain inside jokes nobody, but us got...i hope. oh well, there's always next year.

charlie's new years eve party was pretty wild. i mean come on a ps2, xbox, AND a gamecube in the same house!! AI YAH! that's just too much for me to handle. hehe. well at least the fireworks went off w/o a hitch. if the neighbors had called the cops oh man. mucho trouble, but hey a bunch of other ppl were lighting fireworks off too. it was pretty hard not to hear them. well i got to sleep around 4 and woke up around 11. i bummed around charlie's house for a while and then left at around 3.30. all in all, a good nite.
