Pear Tomato Pickles |
7 c. green pear tomatoes salt 2 tbsp. mustard seed 1 tbsp. celery seed 2 c. vinegar 2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. turmeric |
1. Cut pear tomatoes in half lengthwise. 2. Soak in 1/2 c. salt to 2 quarts of water overnight. 3. Drain. 4. Add remaining ingredients. 5. Boil 10 minutes. 6. Pack into sterilized jars and seal. |
