DOCTORS v. PLUMBERS
To a doctor named Johnathan Rosman, who in a 2/24/02 article claimed that doctors are out there to make money just like plumbers and auto workers:
If doctors promise not to let their patients wait because there are 3 people scheduled for each available time slot, if doctors promise to promptly see people at the emergency room because people are hurt so bad that they had no choice but going to there, if doctors promise to pay attention not to amputate the wrong leg/arm/breast, or not to prescribe drugs that have been discontinued, if doctors promise not to make mistakes that kill thousands of people each year, then we, the patients, promise to regard you, the doctors, more than just a plumber.
